Steven Adler has a new band called "Adler" They are killin' it with their new single release "The One that You Hated" In an interview with Rolling Stones magazine Frontman Jason Bunton says "The lyrics are about two people that are no good for each other, but for whatever reason won't break up" He goes on to say "Maybe it's the sex, maybe it's the convenience, maybe they're just scared to move on and start over, but a lot of people seem to be attracted to the people that they hate. Love and hate are intimately linked within the human brain."
Steven says he is very excited about the new band "I love the music we're creating! I haven't been this excited about my band since the GN'R days." As he should be, the song is rockin' well written and composed.
I had the pleasure meeting Steven and Lonny last year. When I first met Steven, he was on their tour bus sitting at the computer, he looked up and saw me, stood up, walked over to me and said "Hey so glad to meet you, sorry I was writing a new song, didn't mean to seem rude and ignore you" and then shook my hand and gave me a huge hug. I was stunned, here's one of the greatest drummers of all time, and in this writers opinion, from the greatest rock band of all time, GnR, and he was treating me like a life long friend. Lonny was awesome too, I hung out with the guys all day and Lonny made me feel like I belonged on the bus with them. It was a great time that day. If Jason Bunton (Vocals) and Johnny Martin (Bass) are as cool and friendly as Steven and Lonny, they have my vote for the coolest and friendliest rock band ever award.
