Weekly Top 10 Hit List..etc

yes a s promised im gonna give you a weekly list of ten of my top song addictions! and for this week(April 4-10, 2008)...

10.  Splender - I Think God Can Explain

This song had been around for years and been comforting me through tough times, i had been through some down moments this week and this song sticks with me.  The lyrics and the vocals are in perfect harmony that could stick in your head and ohh its just so relaxing to listen to it. An alternative rock that really rocks!

9. Parokya Ni Edgar- Boys Do Fall In Love(Robin Gibb cover)

The wacky guys of Philippine rock gives more edge to a classsic hit.  Fun to listen to.. they did not murder the song at least they give it justice.  And the vocalist is one of my all time faves.

8.  The Bravery - Believe

As suggested by lev011.

Well it did not leave my head since i heard it.  Click the link..to hear is to believe!=D

7.  The Ambassadors -Thousand Reason

I cand find a decent link..anyhow this is a good song that accompanies me during my bum moments..

6.  Calla Lilly- Sanctuary

i keep denying  i liked this band because they sound immature(because theyre like 17 and 18's),,but any way they make good sing along songs!

5.  Sugar Were Going Down fall Out Boy(String Quartet tribute)

Damn! awesome! great! if you cant find any copy just email me(allyn_may_canja@yahoo.com)

4.  Guster -One Man Wrecking Machine

I love this song eversince that Disturbia days(last year) What i love about it is the drum beats behind those guitar progressions that makes me stomp my feet.   Guster reminds me of Snow Patrol a little snappy though..

3.  Tokio Hotel-1000 Oceans

well its hard to resist a band that is all over.period

2.  Shadows Fall -Redemption

Been through some rough times this week, so a good hardcore metal song keeps playing in my mind each time i feel like screaming..  Disturbed step aside!just kidding..

1.  Urbandub - Evidence

Another home grown impressive band with unique sound and amazing vocals..notice their bass player, a rocking girl!

alert: random ramblings ahead!!

Im sorry about the not so decent links!lol Its hard tofind and dont have much time to upload..

I havent checked out some new releases because my mom visited us and attcked with her unending nagging.  yes she have OCD(oddly enough my bro inherited it)she keeps on nagging at me, she cant blame me im an artist i have lots of ideas hence the clutter,hehe.. So i wont be able to promptly drop comments on your latest posts and buzz some of those briliant posts because i'd be very busy drawing characters for an animation(if you have some suggestion i gladly welcome them), then i'd be getting rid of those dust bunnies forming under my shelf, then i'd spend time watching the denver nuggets go down and will spend lots of time cursing why arent they displaying the game that i loved them of. and most of all im going to chase my dreams because theyre becoming far and far from me, and for all of us DONT LET THOSE DREAMS GO!!

PS:

more potential song addiction recommendations please! thanks

FOB Vs MCR

Now FOB just made a new DVD called **** Live in Pheonix, and MCR is going  to release another DVD called the Black Parade is Dead. I probarly would buy **** because it doesn't have any non-kid-friendly content. But MCR's songs always have a lot of cuss words. I like MCR more than FOB, because MCR is really cool. Everyone in MCR is cool, Bob, Ray, Gee, Frank and Mikey. They're talented, and MCR has a good point, their album the black parade is a story about the black parade. and also the pictures are drawn by Gee. Gee is such a genius, he can both draw, write story and also sing. But how about FOB? Infinity on high is really pointless. The only reason you buy it just because your parents like that kind of music, with nothing about death and shit stuff.

Maybe you like FOB a lot because of Pete Wentz, you think he's goodlooking, you think he's talented.

yes, he has his own company.

but he's not talented, lyrics he wrote are just normal. And the bass he plays is very easy.

Those teenies are annoying, they like those bands just because they think "PETE WENTZ IS HAWTT!"

Pete is too overrated

but not many teenies stand for MCR memebers.

I'm sorry for this post.

A Message by Mikey Fucking Way

Here is it, posted on myspace:

"Hello to all,

The other day, I was given the new
Drive By record by my dear friend Todd Price. For those of you who are unfamiliar , he sings and plays guitar in the band. I had been eagerly awaiting this record quite some time. Their initial release floored me. It's everything about music that I love. Amazing and honest rock songs. Todd has the uncanny knack to write the kind of chorus that I'm jealous. Upon listening to their record "A Delicate Situation" I was knocked on my ass once again, and I expected nothing less. If this band isn't gigantic by the end of the year, then there's no justice in the world.. On april 8th, " A Delicate Situation" in released and I recommend you all make a B line to the record store and grab one. The songs are sure to be ingrained in your skull for quite some time.

Regards
Mikeyway"

I like it. especially he said "I knocked on my ass". Mikey fucking Way is always Mikey fucking Way =]

Weekly Top Ten Hit List

(02/26/08-03/03/08)

from now on Im going to post my top ten weekly hit list, and the criterion? well depends on what my ears send my brain and how my brain interprets it wether its new or old song it doesnt matter as long as Im hooked to it this week..

10.  Stone Temle Pilots - Art Schol Girl

I like how the band explored their music, its like its not plain it has something unique thrown into it..a potential last song syndrome..

9.  New Found Glory -Situations

That same New Found Glory I heard before but the good news is I dont get tired of their sound.

8.  Feist- I feel It All

Im not a fan of female vocals(except for some very few ones) but i immediately fall for this song..  Dynamic music and exellent vocals

7.  Band of Horses- No Ones Gonna Love You

A serenade song that would make everyone with musical taste like mines fall..

6.  Last November- The Bumper Sticker Song

Actually I just got acquainted with this band(not in person=D).. I like songs with this kind of stories, its not that mature but they enumerated lots of music legends..=DD

5. R.E.M- Supernatural Super -Serious

I like this R.E.M. song maybe because of the amazing guitar progression

4. The Cribs -Im A realist

though Im not a realist, im a romantic and im indecisive!

3.  Stephen Malkmus - Gardenia

The typical sound that I like... just enough sounds

2.  Glen Hansard- Falling Slowly

Won the Oscar and won my ears!=DD I just love this kind of songs..its soo relaxing..This is music people

1. FasPitch-Breathe

Our home grown talent topped my chart beause of their contageous sound..not the sound you'd consider noise, perfectly blended..
