Do you follow along? Do you question the foundations of your life? Your beliefs? Your job? Your education? Your friends? Can you ever question things too much?

Oh, hey, I forgot I posted this question back when I was doing all that reading on Zen Buddhism!

I question things constantly. Why I believe what I believe, why I do what I do. And while I don't think you can question things too much, I DO think there are people who obsess too much over finding answers. Not everything is going to fall into a logical pattern or situation. Sometimes you just have to roll with it.

I do. And I don't think you can question TOO much. It's just a matter of timing. I tend to start questioning everything at the most horrible of moments. I think I've questioned just about every aspect of my life...Is this where I'm supposed to go? Do I really believe that? Is that what I actually think? Am I really straight? What does that mean? blah blah blah. It goes on forever. Thankfully I usually come up with some sort of satisfactory answer for myself.

I question EVERYTHING.
I even question my questions...weird but I can't help it.
I'm just optimistic.

I was taught from a young age to question everything. Unforunately that backfired on my parents since I started questioning god. But I'm thankful I was bought up that way even if it made me a cynic and sceptical about most things, I'm glad I think things through before I act. I think you can question things too much, especially when certain things are simple, you're more likely to not accept the simpleness of the answer it and it makes things harder than they should be. Although I question things I don't make it an obsession to find the answers right then and there, it takes me a long time to figure out where I stand on certain aspects of my life, beliefs, politics etc.

I question pretty much everything. Sometimes i get so paranoid i question things when theyre the only things i should be able to depend on.

Im catholic, i understand some of the do's and dont's but i cant help questioning so many things, and its hard to believe in something if it doesnt give you answers, and you wont get answers unless you question.

I question my beliefs. After having Christianity shoved down your throat since you were a baby, you come to a point in your life and wonder, "Is what I believe really the truth?" It's difficult to rap my head around...I'm glad I was brought up that way...But sometimes I'm not...I think if I turned my back on God and Christianity now, my parents would be verry disappointed and hurt. Then they would wonder what they did wrong. Sometimes I think it would have been better for me to find God on my own...in my own way, on my own time. I think my parents kind of ruined it for me..Because now I don't want to have anything to do with God, now that I'm older and have opinions of my own, and can make more decisions on my own.

Yes. I have many questions. Why does life have to be so hard?
