Even though the music industry still seems to be dominated by men, let's celebrate and enjoy female musicians! Who is your favorite? They can be solo, a singer/songwriter, the singer of a band, or even just the musician in the band.

Why are they your favorite? Do you think it's been harder for them as a female to find success? (If they aren't OMG BIGGEST BAND IN THE WORLD, do you think they'll find difficulty in the future?)

	sugarisgreatness: 10/09/2008 9:06 PM BELINDA hahahaaa... she is a cause for good times. Go listen. :) but I really like female singers with loud strong voices like Jennifer Hudson. What I've heard from her cd is kind of ehh, but the girl can sing.

	arenee301: 10/10/2008 10:47 AM Well, that depends. My favorite female vocalists in bands are Greta from The Hush Sound and Cassie from Hey Monday. I also like Juliet from The Automatic Loveletter. For classical music and opera type stuff I like Sarah Brightman. Pop music, Christina Aguilera owns. And definately Amy Winehouse.
