My mom and I just took part in it earlier this morning.

I chose not to take part in this.
If I do all my shopping now, what will I have to do later??
Besides, I have no money right now.

Today is also a National No Buy Day and I'm taking part in that. Are Moms beating each other up over the newest Bratz Dolls really teaching their children the true meaning of Christmas? NO! I'm an Atheist who LOVES Christmas because of the family and the movies and the songs and the decorations, but I hate to see a holiday so bastardized!

Word to the wise DO NOT BUY ELECTRONICS FROM WALMART! A lady bought a flatscreen tv this morning and accidentally dropped it out in the parking lot. She went back into the store and told them what happened and gave her another one, no questions asked. Sounds good, right? Well, guess what they did to the one that got dropped on the ground - it got put right back on the shelf without it being tested to see if it still worked. Yeah, they're just begging for 5 return lanes the day after xmas.

Btw, I bought my computer last year on Black Friday and it only cost me $400.

I hate black fridays. I'm sticking to the interweb for shopping.

my sister and i went out this morning, it was chaos. i made a journal about it if anyone wants to check it out. we went winter clothes shopping b/c we think it's outrageos to pay so much for clothing, so we go when there are sales and can get reasonable prices for stuff

I prefer not to deal with people. I either do all my shopping in August or online.
