How do you define beauty? Physical beauty? Mental? Its social value? Symmetry?

There are a ton of factors to take into consideration. But what qualifications make something beautiful to you?

I think this is a great question because personally, I find it so undefinable.
Maybe it's just what we individually find attractive?

Hm.
I guess I'd define beauty (in a person) by being able to stick out in a crowd, & having their own original style, but I'm talking about over-the-top original, not the 'omg. i go 2 hot topic. im a noncnfrmst.' kind of original.
I don't know. maybe it has to do with clothing.
I guess bone structure. & freakish eyes. Like, if they have really really dark skin, & light blue eyes, or light skin & really dark eyes.
Once again..
(drum roll please)
I REALLY DON'T KNOW. :)

Beauty is probably the hardest word to define in the English language because it's so subjective. I myself can't define it, but it gives me something to think about.

In people beauty is always present if there is passion and confidence, this makes anyone beautiful no matter what they look like, also viciousness vanity and selfishness all lead to people being ugly despite what they look like. they say beauty is only skin deep but i've always found that beauty is the core of the person the outer shell forms how they look but can't make them beautiful or ugly. that comes from within.

as for art and structure, i'm drawn to a pieces with passion and yet simplicity, Victorian style architecture is very appealing open simple and yet beautiful. but the modern stuff is complex or passionless. also nature is always beautiful and landscape an portrait will always appeal more than the abtract

I think I answered this in yesterdays QOTD with my many comments about boobs.

This is suuuch a tough one.
For me, it's a combination of qualities when it comes to other people.
Intelligence, social awareness, originality, a bunch of other things I can't think of right now, and of course, looks.
