Chapter 32
Hayley laughed loudly as her cousin embraced her in a tight hug, pulling back as was in an other warm embrace.
- You're really gorgeous, you know that, Christina smiled.
- Are you kidding me, Hayley giggled, look at me now, she placed her hands on her hips, i'm starting to gain weight.
- I'm sure that Josh finds you hot though, Thabitha whispered making Hayley blush and Christina laugh.
- I'm fat, stop it, Hayley shook her head trying to hide her smile.
- No, you're so pretty! Emily grinned, i've missed you guys so much, she giggled.
- I've missed you too, feels like years we saw each other for the last time, Hayley smiled and hugged her cousin one's again.
- Can you keep it a bit low here, Mr. Williams asked as he walked into the room.
- No problem, Mr. Williams Taylor smiled but Hayley's father didn't seem so convinced, he didn't really liked the idea of this reunion party in his house but he wanted to keep an eye on his daughter so had to accept.
- What are we grinning about here, Josh asked wrapping his arm around Hayley's waist and kissing her cheek.
- Talking about baby's stuff, Thabitha laughed, did you actually thoght about a baby name yet? she asked than blushed lightly as she felt a pair of arms around her waist, she didn't say a thing but placed her hands on top of Jeremy's.
- We did, Hayley trailled off.
- I had found a name, Josh said proudly, Miracle, he grinned making everyone laugh, hey, it's an awesome name.
- Miracle Farro? Zac asked giving Josh a look.
- Hey, it's a beautiful name, Hayley pouted.
- How about something more human like? Taylor teased making Josh punch his arm playfully.
- Hope, Josh suggested, everyone rolled their eyes, Hayley giggled.
- Just call him Jesus, Jeremy joked.
- Haha, Josh rolled his eyes but smiled, Hope is a nice name thoug, he added.
- I think so too babe, Hayley smiled and kissed his cheek making a round of awws raise from the group.
- You're such a married couple, Jeremy laughed but meant it in a good way and it made Josh think about his and Hayley's future. He didn't plan on asking her yet but always had the idea somewhere in the back of his head, he wasn't in a hurry on asking her knowing that she would probably say yes.
- I'm gonna miss you bud, Christina said and looked at her cousin, gosh i'm so, so happy for you, she grinned and hugged Hayley one's more.
- I'll miss you too but you can come over any time now, she said.
- Yeah well if i could i'd move in this town to see you everyday, her cousin sighed.
- Aww how i love you, Hayley laughed.
- Hey i want to hug the mommy as well, Emily joked pushing Christina slightly away and hugging Hayley.
- You're giving it so much love, Hayley giggled placing her hands on her stomach, the girls grinned, Thabitha walked over.
- Thab, what's up? Hayley asked.
- I um, can i talk to you for a sec?
- Sure thing, Hayley smiled and walked up to her leaving the girls slightly behind.
- Hayley, Thabitha said and grabbed Hayley's hands , listen i really wanted to apologize for letting Alexa tell my parents about everything, God, i swear if something happened to you, Josh or the baby i'd never forgive myself and-
- Thabitha, Hayley smiled softly, please don't feel bad, you're an amazing friend, you helped us so much, you really shouldn't apologize.
- Thanks Hayles, Thabitha hugged her friend.
- Thanks so much dude, Jeremy smiled and quickly hided the keys into his pocket.
- No problem, you can stay there as long as you want.
- Thanks, i just though i can't leave, i want to stay for her, he said and smiled.
- Someone's in love, Josh chuckled.
- Shut up, Jeremy grinned and playfully shoved Josh's side.
- Are you sleeping yet? Hayley whispered as her and Josh lay in her bed that night.
- No, just thinking, Josh trailled off and kissed her forehead, you know what Jeremy told today?
- What?
- That we were like a married couple.
- Oh that, Hayley giggled, that must be because of the baby, she sighed and rubbed her tummy.
- Hayles, what do you think about us getting married? He asked quietly and bit at his lipring not hearing any answer.
- For real? Hayley mumbled and smiled t herself.
- Yes, i mean as really married and it's not only because we're going to have a baby, Josh trailed off.
- Did you just proposed to me? Hayley whispered and sat up, Josh turned the lamp on and looked at her nervously but Hayley was grinning wide, did you? she whispered.
- I didn't want to rush things up, i mean, gosh i didn't even bough a ring, he said and run his hand thogh his hair.
- It doesn't matter right now, Hayley grabbed his hand, do you really want to marry me?
- Of course i do, i love you Hayles, Josh smiled weakly.
- I love you too, Hayley giggled and kissed him, i love you so much.
- Gosh, i can't believe i'm over and done with this, Josh chuckled as they pulled away.
- Were you nervous to propose to me? Hayley giggled as they lay back down, she held tight into his hand, she was ready to cry from happiness right now.
- Let's say I wasn't exactly planning on doing it tonight, Josh whispered and pulled Hayley closer, you actually didn't say yes, he laughed.
- You didn't get on one knee ether, Hayley challenged, both burst into laugher.
- Shh or my father would come and yell at us, Hayley giggled and burried her face into Josh's chest, i'm so happy, she whispered.
On the next morning Thabitha happilly skipped down the steps of her front porch, she was finally going back to school afer this terrible week after her parents had grounded her. She wasn't sure what would happend at school though, all of her real friends lived in an other town now and her old friends didn't even bother to call her ever since she started missing school and there was also Alexa who for sure wouldn't miss any minute to annoy her.
Taking a deep breath Thabitha walked into the school, she sighed in relief most of the people didn't even noticed her, when she reached her locker a few girls looked at her funny than walking to the other side of the hallway started to gossip. Thabitha had to pretend like she didn't noticed it, she knew why the were whispering, Alexa was really good at starting rumors.
- Well look who's back, Thabitha clenched her teeth as she recognized Alexa's voice behind her, shutting he locker Thabitha turned around sharply.
- And you're still here, wonder how they didn't kicked you outta here, Thabitha muttered.
- And how come your parents let you out, i though you were grounded like a kid, Alexa grinned, both of her girlfriend laughed, Thabitha rolled her eyes.
- You're really an idiot, Thabitha sighed, did you really expected everything to work your way.
- If you think i'm done with that, Alexa smired.
- Josh's in love with Hayley and they're perfectly fine, her parents are protecting her and there's no way you're gonna do something about it, Thabitha smirked and threw her back over her shoulder, you're pathetic. The bell rang not letting Alexa answer back, Thabitha walked to her class with a smile on her face.
- Hey lady, Thabitha frowned and looked around herself, her heart jumped in her chest as she saw Jeremy smile at her from the open window of his car, she stopped in her tracks before squalling happilly, climb in, Jeremy laughed.
- Oh my God, what are you still doing here? Thabitha demanded and kissed him on the lips as she approached the window.
- Can you please climb into the car first, Jeremy laughed, nodding her head Thabitha run around the car and climbed in.
- I hoped that you still wanted to see me, Jeremy smiled and brushed his fingers through her blond hair.
- Of course i wanted to, Thabitha whispered and leaned her head on his shoulder, are you staying for long? she mumbled and played with his hand, Jeremy chuckled noticing the bracelet he had given her around her wrist.
- As long as Josh lets me, Jeremy said.
- What do you mean? she frowned.
- He let me stay at his house, Jeremy chuckled.
- This is so great, Thabitha smiled.
- Now we can see each other without anybody disturbing us, Jeremy smiled, Thabitha blushed a bit and rested her head on Jeremy's chest.
- Thank you for being here, Thabitha smiled.
- And i'm not leaving any time soon, Jeremy smiled and kissed her on the lips, Thabitha blushed and pulled away. Smiling to himself Jeremy pulled out of the parking lot, he turned some music on and took Thabitha's hand in his, she smiled and rested her head on his shoulder.
Putting on a smile on his face Josh walked up to counter of the bar he just walked into, the lady who was putting the glasses on the shelf turned around and smiled at him.
- What can i do for you pretty boy? she asked placing her hands on her hips, Josh smiled uneasily, she was just his mother's age but acted like she was some young girl.
- I'm actually searching for a job, Josh trailled off, and run his hands throgh his hair.
- Well as you can see we already have a bartender, the lady said poiting at herself.
- Yeah, Josh sighed, maybe you need someone in the kitchen or i could help cleaning, he trailled off. The lady leaned a bit on the counter and looked him up and down, Josh frowned.
- Nah you're too good looking for that, she smiled.
- Okay, than, thank you for your help, Josh said and was about to leave, not wanting to deal with this wierd woman.
- Hey wait, i do have a job that should fit for you, she smiled, Josh raised his eyebrows.
- What kind of job? he asked hesitantly seeing the look on her face, the woman laughed at his expression.
- Do you play any instrument?
- I do, i play guitar, Josh grinned, but wait, he looked around the bar, you need a musician?
- Well we used to have small performances on saturdays but those days are long gone, we don't have that much customers so there was no point, the lady sighed and looked at the small stage on the far corner of the bar, Josh followed her gaze.
- Well are you going to bring it back now?
- You could take a shot this saturday, who knows maybe it will work, the lady smiled and went back to work.
- So i can come on saturday? Josh asked not really sure if the conversation was over.
- Sure, just leave your name, she said, so we can introduce you, if of course somebody comes, she laughed.
- Right, Josh mumbled and grabbed a napkin writing down his name, alright, i'll be there, he smiled.
- Bye Joshua! the lady called out.
- Alight, what was that? Josh whispered to himself one's he was outside, he wasn't sure if this was even a job, they didn't even talked about money. Sighing deeply Josh looked up into the sky, it was getting dark and he wanted to be home earlier to see Hayley.
Pushing the door open Josh immediatly felt worried, he heard Mrs. Williams talk loudly, Josh rushed up the stairs as he heard Hayley's cries.
- What's going on? Josh breathed out as he walked into Hayley's bedroom.
- Hayley's being very sick, Mrs. Williams informed and looked back at her daughter. Hayley was lying on her bed, she was pale and looked absolutely exausted.
- Hayles, Josh said softly as he walked up to the bed, Hayley turned her head to look at him and smiled weakly.
- Hey, she whispered and reached out for his hand, how was your day?
- I think i found a job, Josh said and croushed down, how you feel, he asked and touched her forehead which was cold.
- Like crap, she mumbled and placed her hand over her belly.
- She needs rest, Mrs. Williams said, Josh glanced at her unsure, he didn't want to leave Hayley's side.
- I think it passed now mom, Hayley mumbled and pulled the covers closer to herself, i'm a bit cold.
- It's normal baby, her mother said softly, you need some sleep now, come on Josh, she rose up from Hayley's bed and patted his shoulder.
- Just a minute, he told Mrs. Williams.
- Just a minute, she told him and left the room.
- Gosh, i feel so weak, it sucks, Hayley chuckled, i'm glad you're here.
- Yeah i wanted to be home early as well, Josh said and rubbed her cheek, i better let you rest.
- Go tell dad about the good news, Hayley smiled.
- Will do, Josh smiled not wanting to go into details about his new not really stable job he was being offered.
- Hey, Hayley grabbed into Josh's hand as he was about to leave, i waited all day for you to kiss me, she pouted.
- Sorry, Josh grinned and leaned down to kiss her on the lips, i love you, rest now, he whispered, nodding her head Hayley closed her eyes.
Walking into the kitchen Josh found Mr. Williams at the table reading a journal and sipping his evening cup of coffee.
- Good evening Mr. Williams, Josh smiled and sat down.
- I heard you found a job, Mr. Williams said looked up from his journal, Josh saw something that looked like a smile on his face.
- Yeah, i actually did, it starts only saturday though.
- Good, it better pay off well, Mr. Williams said and got back to reading.
- It will, it will, Josh smiled sighing in relief that he didn't need to explain what kind of job it was because honestly he had absolutely no idea who would come into that bar to listen to him.
- Thank you, Josh smiled as Mrs. Williams placed his food in front of him.
- You're welcome, she smiled. Josh begun to eat still thinking about the job when suddenly a picture on the cover of Mr. Williams jornal caught his eye. There was a picture of a famous band which tour was starting soon, the article was also talking about it. A idea popped into Josh's head. He knew it was quite impossible but he had to form a band and he only had the time until saturday.
Josh decided to talk to Jeremy about his idea, he knew his friends could help him.
