*New Story* Love's Not A Competition

Hey guys so this is a new upcoming story that I wrote like yesterday when an idea popped into my head. Please tell me what you think of it! I hope you guys like it (: Remember to comment, buzz and well of course enjoy :D
Hayley Williams.
She is the one girl on this planet that I love more than anything.
Hayley can always make me smile no matter what situation we are in. Hayley is funny, caring; thrill seeking, adventurous, kind, gentle, and just purely amazing. The amount of love and care she has for every disabled person, or every injured animal is endless. I swear that her heart is probably the size of her! Another breath taking thing about Hayley is that she has the most amazing smile. When she smiles, I stop whatever I was just doing to simply get a glimpse at it. Her laugh is mesmerizing and she even does this little nose scrunch when she's either tired or confused. She has vibrant red hair that falls just above her chest and has the most perfect porcelain skin, also she is only 5'4 which leaves her as tiny and adorable as a kitty. To top all this off she has the most amazing eyes I have ever seen. They are a light green (not too light though) with a shade of light blue round the iris.
In other words she is perfect.
And she has a crush on a certain somebody.
And that certain somebody would be...
Ian Gardner.
Ian Gardner is the captain of the football team and therefore known as the most popular guy in school. Almost every girl is head over heels for him. They only like him because of his popularity, spunk and good looks. He has spiked short black hair with his so called ‘dreamy’ dark blue eyes and pale skin. He always wears one of those typical jock stereotype orange jersey’s with the number that he plays on the front with black skinny jeans and grey vans. Most girls don’t even know what he’s like personality wise, but still they love him none the less. He can have any girl in the school he points his muscly finger to yet he has never dated anyone in this school. He probably thinks he’s too good for them. That egotistic bastard. I however am just an average guy with average friends. In other words I'm nothing special compared to him but you want to know what makes it worse? Hayley gushes about him all day. We are best friends and she tells me every detail about how she's feeling and I do the same. Well except for the fact that I am head over heels about her. She will brag on about how Ian scored the winning point for the school or something. It's great that we are so open to each other but when she rambles on about how amazing Ian is, you kind of want to just disappear.
I was leaning against my locker when I felt a pair of small hands clamp down on my shoulders. I turn my head slightly to see Hayley standing there with the widest smile on her face.
"Hey beautiful" I say shoving my books into my locker and turning back to face her.
Yes I call her beautiful and yet she never thinks that I think of her in that way. She thinks it's just a best friend thing. Oh how wrong she is.
"Hey Joshie" She blushes slightly then grabs my hand quickly. You can literally feel the excitement radiating off of her.
"Guess what!" She whisper screams. Wow somebody’s excited today.
"What's up?" I ask causally, staring into her amazing green eyes.
"Ian!"
"Oh not this again" I groan, side stepping away from her hold and walking down the corridor.
"Josh wait!" She calls following after me.
"I know you get sick of all this guy talk but just listen to this!" She squeals grabbing a hold of my shoulder, causing me to stop in my tracks.
"Hayley I really don't want to hear it."
Just when I thought I was getting away she pulls out the famous pout. I groan and roll my eyes waiting for her to continue her story about Ian. Knowing she had won she pulled me over to the wall as people walked by chatting about weekend plans. Nothing could possibly be worse than hearing about how amazing Ian is.
"Ian asked me out on a date!"
Wait let me rephrase that.
Nothing could possibly be worse than Hayley the girl of my dreams, going out on a date with Ian the douche bag.
My name is Joshua Farro and I'm screwed.
