Why I Am The Number One Fan

no its not because he is cute or rich or famous or talented it is because he changed my life, and my outlook on life. I’m not some teenybopper girl reading BOP and watching MTV 24/7. I’ve had a pretty difficult time the last couple years with acceptance and family. No I’m not looking for sympathy and such so don’t tell me get over it. In 6th grade I was just following what everyone else was listening to (no none even heard of FOB in my school) (I live in Egypt) ya know the old green day faze and avril lavigne then I came across fall out boy and there song "Saturday" I was completely amazed I have never heard anything so amazing. From hen on I started to listen to more of there album Take this To you r grave and I became more and more amazed by them. I told a bunch of my friends about hem but they thought I was stupid and thought they sucked, I started to become more and more distant form my friends because of this. I started doing web searches and found this thing were you ask Pete questions I began to ask so many questions to them it became a daily thing (I still do it every day) I became fascinated by Patrick he always seemed to be ashy and very reserved. One day I was in my room and I was listening to the CD and it never struck me of how beautiful pats voice was. Its 9th grade now and I am a totally different person, while everyone has moved on to other bands to obsess over, I have stuck with fall out boy. I lost alot of my "friends" and I basically am alone at school. agoan not looking for sympathy. I guess you could call me a loner, but I carry my ipod every day and the sweet sound of Patrick hitting those notes always washes away my rejection of society. i dont care about people anymore only the friends that truely hang with me for who i am. Their songs are my lullabies. If I could ever meet them I probably couldn’t say anything, not because I’m star-struck but because they are my inspiration. Because of Patrick I have been able to express my true self, and my true opinions. I have been able to break away form the need of acceptance, and have aspired to a life of music and happiness.

So Patrick thank you so much you have no idea how much you mean to me.
