I only wish I had more. But since I just picked my camera back up this year, I feel pretty lucky to have been able to shoot the bands I could.
#1 Adler's Appetite was my first of the year. It was great to meet and hang out with Steven Adler all day. The guys in the band were very cool and friendly, they treated me as if I had known them forever! Thanks for the great day Steven, Chip, Michael, Lonny and Patrick
#2 Grand Funk Railroad was a great time. Yes I know many of you have not even heard of them, they were one of the greats back in the 70's Probably the most memorable song they did was "American Band"
#3 Filter I got a call to go shoot this show at the last minute, and of course there was no way I was going to turn it down. It was a great time, not only because I was seeing one of my favorite bands, it was also my 15 year old daughters first concert. Thanks to my friend who hooked me up with this shoot...you know who you are =)
#4 Chevelle What can I say, these guys tore it up, they even treated us to their newest hit, before it was released, "Face to the Floor" This was also my first concert shoot for 97 Rock, thanks to the folks at the radio station for making me part of the team!
#5 Great White Damn! What an awesome concert. I got to hang out during sound check and shot the breeze with a couple of the guys before the show. When they came out that evening I felt like I was back in the 80's/90's again listening to them as I did back then, it was a great great concert, don't ever miss a chance to go see them!
#6 Black Veil Brides They freakin kick @$$, I wish they had played longer. This is one band I will go out of my way to go see again, oh wait I did go a long ways...well I guess I will again!
Well 2012 is almost upon us, and my new years resolution is to go and photo as many concerts as I possibly can, I get to start out the new year with a great band in Jan Theory of a Deadman...keep an eye open for upcoming pics!
And please feel free to Buzz me or leave comments!!
