Even though it is the end of February and I am very ready for spring, I still can't avoid the fact that winter up here is beautiful !  Cold, but beautiful !  I like the way this shot looks without my dad in there for perspective!  (:

Yesterday I spent the day with my mom, and we had such a great time!  She is going to be part of a community rummage sale in the spring!  So, we sorted through some Rubbermaid bins!  She gave me some beautiful dishes that were my great grandmother's! I just love them! We talked about anything and everything!  While we were sorting, we found a box of old medicines that were my grandfather's!  I couldn't convince her to give those to me too! (:  I did take a few photos!  I am thinking of doing a short photo blog so that you can see them too!  The bottles are just the best!  We also came across the old mercury thermometer that they gave my mom in the hospital when I was born!  She did let me have that!  It is in the original box!

My kids are all leaving Florida tomorrow!  Jordan will be flying back to Japan! I will be tracking his flights on my iPhone! Trevor and Kaylee will be flying home!  We are getting another storm, and that has me really worried!  I am scared for the flying conditions and especially landing!  I am also scared that they might have their flights delayed or cancelled!  They don't have any extra money, so they would have to spend the night (or maybe two) in the airport in NYC !  They go from Jacksonville to LaGuardia!  From LaGuardia to Detroit Metro!  Then yet another flight up to Pellston! I will be so glad when they are back here in the apartment safe and sound with me!
