1st reported by Kerrang.com, it seems we will get a little taste of things to come from MCR!

Just a little fix to help get us through the hiatus, or a tease, depending on if you look at the glass half empty or half full!

MCR will be releasing the Bob Dylan classic, Desolation Row' on February 9 through Warner Bros.

The song will be part of the soundtrack to the The Watchmen Movie adaptation.

The track will be released as a digital download and as a limited edition 12" vinyl.
The 12" will be limited to just 3,000 copies and will be backed with an extract from the film's score.

The full soundtrack will be available in the UK on February 23 with the film to follow on March 6.

Well the song itself I believe will be available as a single... probably 99 cents.. the usual charge for digital download singles on music sites.

I am usually perched at my computer ready to pounce at the stroke of midnight (or whatever time they come available) to assure I get my copies. That isnt allways fullproof, I think they send them in whatever order they like.
I was one of the first to order LOTMS and yet I was one that endedup getting a backordered copy of the signed booklet, and those with order numbers after me got theirs...

There is always the pre-order tickets, that I think ticket brokers get hordes of because it takes about 3 seconds to submit the order and they are already gone by the time you click buy it now.

I orderd the black parade box set seconds after they were available only to find out people who ordered them late the next day had a lower number on their certificate. So who knows what method they have to their madness.

I like MCR and all, but I dont think this cover is going to be very good. I dont think Bob Dylan and MCR have compatible styles of music for them to do justice to the original
