Day 142 - I Dedicate You All
Hey guys,
Here I am for talking about the great evening I had yesterday.
I was at Biagio Antonacci concert, just near my home, since the venue is at the street above mine! XP
In the morning my mom checked if there were people but she told me that I could stay at home since there wasn't no one... At 2:30pm we came back and there were only 10 people, so I said: OK I can come back here around 4:30pm... And this has been, I come back at that hour and then I waited to enter in the venue. Some people started to come and the line was increasing...
7:30 - Doors opening
A few minutes later I was in and the barrier was mine, I was in front row, in the middle of the stage, on the right side of the catwalk, since the stage had a "T" shape, but I knew Biagio stayed a lot on the catwalk during the past concerts and I thought it was the perfect place and it was!
I knew some other Biagio's fans and we spent the time together, the official photographer shot us some pics too.
The wasn't wasn't sold out, unfortunately, but there was 3000 people and I was happy as well and we really screamed and made feel us like a sold-out place!!! We were really really warm and Biagio was so glad about this!
9:30 - The show starts
With "Infinito Onore" a song dedicated to the Italian politcs, for this reason on stage there were some dancers with Italian politician masks and first a Biagio's double with black wings and a girl with a white vest came on stage (they represent the new album cover)
At the end of the song I already was without voice XD
The second song started and Biagio appeared from under the stage and the crowd went really mad!
I jumped, I screamed, I sung, I danced, I really really enjoyed the night!
Biagio dedicated this show to all Italian people and especially to Melissa, the 16 years old girl, killed a few days ago in Brindisi, for an attempt in front of her school, other four girls have been hurted, the worst, has been operated and doctors reconstructed her ribe cage.
And he spent also some words for the earthquake that just hit Emilia Romagna and he said: "Before to think about what we can do about the collapsed building, we should think about all the people that haven't a house anymore!"
Biagio was really really psyched up, happy, moved and jumped and danced a lot too!
He came a lot of times from my side, really really near to me and we sung also some verses together looking in our eyes. It's been really emotional!
He sung some songs of his new album and a lot of the pasts and his most famous songs.
I chose "I Dedicate You All" because it's the last song he played yesterday night, in Italian "Ti Dedico Tutto" and also the first single of his new album.
At 11:45 the concert was over. Damn! Time passed really really quick, as everytime I assist at a concert. I will always keep this experience in my heart.
Probably, on October I go in Milan to see him again, this concert really deserves to be seen more than once! It definitely is one of the best I've been. I enjoyed a lot!
Today I have no voice and my body hurts hahahaha especially the neck, the arms and the legs XD
At the end of the concert Biagio wrote on Twitter: "Thanks Trieste. Attentive and warm. In an amazing city...Love" and obviously I sent him tons of Tweets for thank him for the wonderful show!
Really can't wait to see him again!
Thanks Biagio, Eternally thanks!
