swingthefocus11: 01/06/2008 11:54 PM I'll start it off with some of my favorites:
Smashmouth- Allstar
this song has basically shaped my life. it was the first song I knew ALL the lyrics to. Smashmouth is playing a show in Seattle soon, but its at a casino, so I don't think I can go. But I WANT TO!!!
Aaron Carter- Thats How I Beat Shaq
umm... definition of the worst song ever, but still freakin amazing cause its Aaron Carter. the BEST tune to bump in the car when you're trying to look cool, no joke, it really catches the men's eye.
Craig David- Can You Fill Me In
when did Craig die away??? he had two hits, damn this song is so chill and GOOOOD. not gonna lie, I love it.
these are all from my middle school days, when we had dances and such. check em' out on Youtube, cause I'll be looking up everyone else's!!!

Harold Bensington: 01/07/2008 12:15 AM To be honest, I cannot say that I have a favorite song from my childhood. Although, I like to think that I am still living a piece of my childhood. With that being said, I'll have to say that my favorite song to listen to and makes me feel oh, so young is...
"Lollipop" by MIKA
If you haven't heard this, go and look around for it. It's pretty much one of the best things that you'll ever hear. It is so poppy, combining elements that you could potentially hear from any time period.
All in all, this is my favorite song. =]

Adriana: 01/07/2008 2:35 AM The one thing that I remember so clearly form when I was little, were the trips we used to take, and the music my dad would listen to... The one that stands out is "Jeanney" by Falco...I swear he used to put it on repeat.... another one would be "Come undone" by Duran Duran....but my favorite is "Jeanney"...

berry: 01/07/2008 10:17 AM I think the first song (other than nursery rhymes) that I can really remember liking was Alanis Morrisette's Ironic.
I remember being about 4 or 5 years old and listening to that song and jumping up and down on my bed while pretending to be a rockstar ;]
And other than that, I loved the theme song from the TV show Arthur. Did anyone watch that show? I swear, that was the best kid's show ever constructed. If my little sister is watching it, I'll sometimes still sit down and watch it with her.

someonewholovesfob: 01/07/2008 1:03 PM Okay, I had quite a few...
There was "Spice Girls". Let's just say anything related to them pretty much ruled my life at the time... In particular, 'Spice Up Your Life'.
Also, this one song... "B*witched - C'est la vie". That was one of the main song that I was practically obsessed with. (What's even worse is I still remembered the ' * ' instead of an 'e'.)
Um, there was also 'S Club 7' and bands like, 'Backstreet Boys' and 'N'Sync'.
Plus, we must not forget 'Britney Spears'.
(I was young, okay?)
And then there was the stuff that influenced by my Dad, (The Stuff he listened to that I really, really liked and still like to this day) like, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against The Machine and Metallica.
