Happy birthday to you....Happy birthday to you....Happy birthday dear Josh....Happy birthday to you.....My glanced around my back yard at all my family,as they sang happy birthday to me,for the twenty-fifth time of life.
At twenty five I look back on my life, I have everything I've ever wanted and at such a young age. A loving family, wife and child, A growing record label,and a five star resturant.
So why am I not happy.
Well it all started a few hours after my party. Everything was good untill I met her. She changed my perspective of life,It's like I'm seeing everything brand new eye. She changed everything.
And this is how it all happened.....
Chapter 1 (Josh)
I woke up to the bright morning sunlight shinning though the open blind of my bedroom and the sweet sound of my baby girl giggling from outside the room, just as I did every morning. "Shhh! honey your going to wake daddy up before we get there" I hear my wife Jenna of four year say to our four year old daughter Madalin. Jenna and met freshman year of highschool it was love at first sight,she's everything I ever wanted in a woman, smart,honest,funny,beautiful,loving,and always herself with me. I love her so much that I asked her to marry me four after graduating highschool at the age of twenty-one, we were so young,but I didn't want to risk losing her at any cost. Soon came Madalin and we were a family. "Ok mommy." Madalin says. I close my eyes pretending to be asleep,I didn't want to ruin their surprise. "You can wake daddy up now." Jenna's sweet voice spoke again. "Daddy wake,it's your birthday." Madalin said taking a seat next to me,and giving me a shove. "Daddy wake up." She says again. I pretended to stir a bit ,moving my arm across Madalin's lap and rested my head in her little shoulder, as if she was my pillow,which caused her to giggle and say "Mommy daddy heavy." "What a soft pillow?" I said, not opening my eye just yet. "Daddy I'm not a pillow."She giggled placing her hands on each side of my face and lifting my head. Without warning I sot up,and began to tickle her,she instantly burst into a fit of laughter. "Ok enough you two,breakfast is getting cold."Jenna said walking over to the bed. I took Madalin in to my arms once we both calmed. "Good morning beautiful." I smiled placing a sweet kiss on Jenna's soft pink lips. "Good morning handsome, Happy birthday" She kissed me,before we headed downstairs for breakfast. "smells delicious." I complemented." "It's for you." She smiled fixing me a plate. I smiled back, I had the best wife in the entire world,I wouldn't trade her for anything, so I thought. "Daddy I got you a present." Madalin says holding out a small box, all wrapped up with a big red bow ontop. "After breakfast sweety." Jenna says. After breakfast and opening gifts, I decided to spend most of the day with just Jen and Madalin, before the rest of the family came over for the party. I didn't really want a party but Jenna insisted. She kicked me out of the house for about an hour or so she and Madalin could set up everything. ********* "So what do you have planned after the party." one of my bestfriends Jeremy asked. "Don't know it'll probaby be late..." "Dude it's your twenty-fifth birthday your suppose to have fun. Every since you got married you don't hangout anymore, your all business. Jeremy says,with my younger brother Zac agreeing. "I have a wife, a child,and work,that takes up alot of my time. I can't go out and just abandon my responsibilities just to go out and get wasted." " I understand that, Kat's my life but still I take time out for myself, were not telling you to abandon your responsibilities? Just take and hour out for Josh for once, I'm sure Jen will understand." "What are you getting at?" I questioned. Knowing Jeremy for almost 13 years I knew he was up to something,and this wouldn't end well, it never does. "Were going out tonight for your birthday." "Where?" "it's a surprise." "I'm not going anywhere untill you tell me where." "Yeah you are,whether it's willingly or forced."Jeremy grinned ." "Jer I'm not joking." I said as we headed back to the house for the party. ******** Once turning into the long driveway it was obvious there wasa celebration in progress, there were tons cars parked anywhere possible. Jeremy Zac and I walked into the house to find it empty,but then hear voices coming from the back yard. "Surprise!" Everyone shouted. It really wasn't a surprise considering I already knew,but I was greatful to have my family. "Is all this for me?" I asked squealed like a little girl. "Awwww stop,being dramatic babe." Jenna smiled wrapping her arms around my neck,and kissed me as my mom snapped a few pictures. "Thanks babe" I walked around greeting my family and friends,before it was time to sing happy birthday. Happy birthday to you....Happy birthday to you....Happy birthday dear Josh....Happy birthday to you.....they continued to sing.
