October 20, 2008Sunrise, girl, daisy stand for a perfect day!
Floating around in the dreamland, I heard a sharp noise. "Gaaahhh, the alarm clock again!" I clicked on the cell phone for it not to ring anymore, pushed my face in the pillow and fell asleep once more.
The beginning of the day was lazy *yawn*. As soon as I stepped outside, I saw the beautiful sky, as if it was nearly sunset, not an hour or two after sunrise. It was so cheering up, that I rushed to the bus stop (the most probable situation to happen: I was supposed to miss my bus to school). While I was running along the sidewalk, I kept turning my head around to see the sun. The view filled me with positive energy for the next couple of hours. Fortunatelly and quite marvellously, I managed to catch my bus! At school the first thing I heard was "Aga (that's my shortened name^^), did you just cut your hair?!" Haha, yes, I did! I really can't believe how many people at school kept staring at my haircut... and another mass of them kept telling me how beautiful I looked... I don't believe them, but, of course, everyone has their own point of view. When the lessons started my desk-mate wasn't there. It was a shock - the evening before we agreed on taking some books to school. But one of my friends was late and decided to join my-joyful-self today. It was cool, I truly like him, he's the best guy in my class! (No, I'm not falling in love XD) When the time came to a chemistry lesson, he told me "You'll see, we're going to have a short test. The teacher hates us for that we escaped from her lesson 2 weeks ago" That is mostly true. Well, everything in what he said was true:/ We had a short test, cause our teacher hates us, cause we escaped from her lesson 2 weeks ago (yea, the whole class XD), cause we hate her, cause we think she's stupid, cause she really is. This is unfortunatelly kind of a vicious circle, but at least after the short test (ugh, it was AWFUL) me and my friend kept laughing our butts off at her XD Later on, when the school part of the day was finished, I was peacefully getting back home. I decided to get off the bus at the preceding bus stop, cause I needed some (clean) air to breathe (I feel really sick in all kinds of communication :|). As I was walking past some blocks of appartments, a little girl came to me with a smile on her face and a courageous "Good afternoooon!" on her widened lips. I was shocked, but kindly said "Good afternoon". The the girl stepped a little closer, pushed her right arm towards me and said "Here you are." After a short while of hesitation, I took the thing she offered me (a cute, tiny daisy!), smiled politely (nobody smiles as politely as I do XP) and said "Oh, thank you very much!" Then the girl and I both walked in our own directions. I was soooo amazed by her! She filled my day to the extreme! I felt like I meant something to a complete stranger! It's an incredible feeling, a very, very, very positive one!:) If adults could act like this little girl, giving something from their hearts to other people, the world would be such a perfect place to live in! I'm sorry it took me so long. You don't need to read, I just want to remember this little situation:) I really feel better than in the past 5 months. I've been struggling with my ex-best friend, or best ex-friend who seems to find the friendship with 3 other girls and she doesn't seem to care for me anymore. I was the most important person for her. Now I'm just "like the others". It's an awful feeling, but... this little girl... she... oh, wow, I really appreciate a little daisy! =) Btw, I heard on the radio today that Cracow (the city I live in) has been chosen the most interesting city in the whole WORLD!! Chosen by The Guardian. Although, I checked their website and I couldn't find anything like this... Related Groups:

August 24, 2008S.I.M.P.L.E. J.O.Y.S. August 24th, 2008S.I.M.P.L.E. J.O.Y.S. stands for Savannahs Interests Making Plain Life Easier Just Occupying Your Self. It's something I'm going to do every Sunday where I explain what things made me smile this week to promote positivity and finding the little things. You can always pick good things out from the bad! - Girl you better get to living before you're dead. For some reason I'm more comfortable with the way I look and feel then I have been in a while. Yes, I am still freaked the hell out about my future but I, for some reason, also feel better about life in general. I'm happier this week and letting things go and just enjoying living. There's no point in wasting time moaning when you could be fixing the things that go wrong. I guess I just have more hope for school and life and feel better about things and the way I look. It seems like my style is falling into place. - New shoes! Eep! I love shoes! - I feel more flirty and fun. For some reason this has happened a bunch this week. I was chatted up by a camera tech in Best Buy, a few guys at the concerts I went to, and just in general being approuched when I was out. Confidence booster much? I just feel like I need to be happy with myself before I can feel comfortable with other people. And it made me realize just how many people are out there in the world. I don't have to lower my standards to the guys at my school when there are much better options out there. ![]() - Dressing up & interesting relatives. It was my grandfathers 90th birthday party on Saturday so I wore this adorable dress and put on some lovely heels and went off in a room where I didn't know half the people or only saw them once every few years. I ended up talking to a great lady for around an hour and we had a really good conversation. I also got to see my uncle which to me = yah! and is the only reason I bother to go visit my father on the weekends sometimes because my uncle will be there and I like talking with him. My mom definitly picked the wrong brother to marry. ![]() ![]() ![]() - Bill & Travs Bogus Journey Tour. Besides being in love with the name (My friend and I are huge fans on the prequel, Excellent Adventure), I'm so excited to see TAI... again so soon after Warped! I bought my presale tickets to the date at The Webster in Hartford, Conn through Santis Little Helpers so I also have a M&G which should be very fun! (Tell me if you're going too!) - Finding a few cute things to purchase. I'm going to go on a mini online shopping spree and buy things from Snakes&Suits (with 10% of my purchase because it's sale time!), SmartPunk for some exclusive CDs (with free signed stuff coming with it), and maybe finally caving to get the 'Let your consciene be your guide..." necklace from Clandestine Industries (It is a reduced price soooo...)? - New clothes that actually fit! When does this not make anyone feel happier? When I was recovering from being sick, my mom and I went shopping in an outlet mall that has lots of lovely stores. I purchased 2 dresses, a pair of purple leggings, a wispy vintage looking shirt, and a pair of black gladiator type shoes. Even better? I got a $40 gift card to that cute store because I spent $80. Oh la la! I'll definitely be back! - Having a wonderful horse back riding lesson! I've been riding this horse, named Renaldo, for quite a while now and he can be very spooky and jittery, especially when riding outdoors, which is what I did on Friday. He freaks out and darts around at every little bush or noise. So I was so happy when he was responsive and listening well to my seat and hands. We worked for an hour on things we had been trying to hit and made lots of progress. It was even more of a victory because I did it almost all my myself because my trainer was with someone else most of the time. - Seeing Soundtrack Of Your Summer on Friday. No matter how much the night actually sucked, the bands were amazing and put on a fabulous show! All four of them are fantastic stage performers plus I love all of their music. It was weird to see how big The Maine has become. It was cool that they were recording that show for a DVD or something too! Garrett of The Maine also wrote, "Yesterday we played in Boston and it was crazy to say the least! We were waiting for that show all tour! Thank you to any one who came out to the show it really means a lot to all of us." Yah! :] - An in depth conversation with a real life friend. I'm finding out that I have so much more in common with my good friend then we both realized and we've known each other for years. It's amazing to just talk about anything and everything and know that someone else feels the same exact way. On this path I also talked to more of my friends who I haven't seen in weeks because we didn't really keep in touch over the summer. - The ladies from my barn. Today we had an Olympic watching party which was basically an excuse to get together outside of the barn and relax. It was nice that the people I ride with got to see me in real clothes and not just riding breeches and a baggy t's with messy hair and dirt on me. I was refered to as "the new era of the barn" and "bringing a young edge" which both made me laugh and feel happy at the same time as the next second I was being complimented on my hair by a woman I had just met. There was yummy food, lovely company, and many laughs. How about you? What things made you happy? xo Savannah aka TryingToFindTheWords Related Groups:
