This song is about Mark's penis it's called All The Small Things- Blink-182 Saskatoon

Narcissistic-Tendencies Aug 03, 2009

Searching the web going through the news and in May finding the tour dates to the Blink-182 comeback tour (and i only use comeback in the sense that they're, well, comming back as Blink-182)

Now any music fan would be going I HAVE TO BE AT THAT SHOW!

but probably any fan of music in Saskatchewan would be like A SHOW IN SASKATOON FUCK YES! I HAVE TO BE AT THAT SHOW!

including me

so lining up wasn't that bad, we got in around six which is awesome, then i tried getting some merch, before i lined up there was a merch booth outside where i did get my favorite blink shirt ever

Blink-182

Crappy Punk Rock

but that was nothing compaired to trying to get some Fall Out Boy merch, it was so horrible, when i finally got a purple Fall Out Boy shirt and two rubber braclets that say Fall Out Boy and I'm comming apart at the seams from Disloyal Order Of The Water Buffaloes.

Then i went down to the pit where i stayed for the rest of the night, it was okay during All American Rejects, but progressivly grew hotter and more squished when Fall Out Boy started.

THE ALL AMERICAN REJECTS

They started with Dirty Little Secret and ended with Gives You Hell, they played some great song inbetween too, like Move Along it ends tonight, and my personal favorite Swing, Swing.

The All Amercan Rejects were great, they talked with the crowd, and even made fun of them. The lead singer, i think his name is Tyson, was clearly drunk, or else high on life it was great, he came out with no shirt on and covered in pink glitter! He continued and got everyone in the higher seats all to stand up, then they sat down and he said, "Oh yeah just sit the fuck down, assholes." But it was all in love.

FALL OUT BOY

What can't i say about Fall Out Boy, they were amazing!

The setlist went like this

Sugar We're Going Down

Disloyal Order Of The Water Buffaloes

Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet

I Don't Care

Dance, Dance

This Ain't A Scene Its An Arms Race

Thanks For The Memories

Americas SuiteHearts

Saturday

I was in awe the whole time, and singing my heart out the entire set! And i swear Patrick and I had like 15 seconds of eye contact 4 seperate times, you dont know how much i want them to come back on their own tour! A HUGE thing that happened after the second last song is that Pete was talking to a kid who was causing trouble, then Pete said, "Just for that kid, i'm gonna get Patrick to play a little bit of a Journey song!"

Then Patrick looked at him like, "What THE FUCK! YOU SUCK SO BAD!" He looked so nervious, but he did SO awesome! He only messed up once! I think every person sang along too! Some other good moments when was everyband said, "Whenever i come to Canada, I can smell the weed."

BLINK-182

There isn't anything but awesome that can be said about Blink-182. Their about 5 shows in and i think that their already on top of there game! They were amazing! I dont actually remember the whole setlist, it was kind of a overload over the last hour but heres what i remember-

Feeling This

The Rock Show

First Date

Always

I Miss You

Whats My Age Again

All The Small Things

Stay Together For The Kids

Adams Song

Violence

Down

Go

Anthem Part 2

(there were a couple more but i forget)

After their "ending" Anthem Part 2 Blink left the stage, Everyone sat there for atleast 5 minutes and screamed and yelled!

Then the big black curtain dropped and out came Travis Barker playing the craziest drum solo EVER. I mean seriuosly the drum riser came out and flew around, at one point it became almost verticle and he started spinning around, it was crazy.

Then Tom and Mark came back out and they broke out in Dammit! At first i didn't think Blink was gonna come back out when we were yelling so i was dissapointed when they didn't play it, but when they came back it was crazy the whole arena errupted into cheers, During Blink the whole thig was packed, i swear i saw every seat filled, but i was in the pit so i couldn't really tell, but Dur All Merican Rejects it wasn't as packed, Fall Out Boy alot more people started comming in, and i think everyone was there in the arena for Blink-182.

But during Dammit they had the "Crazy inflatable waving arms men, Crazy inflatable waving arms men!" and near the end huge confetti blew all over the place -

Then during the real end of the concert they sung the candian national anthem for us!

My favorite parts of the concert were definately

1. The Travis Barker drum solo

2. Patrick singing Don't Stop Believing

3. The whole arena, WHOLE arena breaking out in "LETS GO RIDERS!" right before Blink, Showing pride for the Saskatchewan RuffRiders.
