This is an update I am doing, so I thought an image ought to go with it since a blog about my boring life would be a little annoying. :P

As a few of you may know, I recently answered my final BA examination from the University of Mumbai. I was very scared about my results since the teachers had gone on strike, and underqualified teachers were employed to speed up the correction process.(around 28,000 people appeared for the BA exam) Well, my results came out on Saturday, saying I have passed with First Class. I am happy to say that I am now a Graduate in Sociology! The bad part is that I don't know my percentage, and that could be anything above 60%, so it is a little scary for me. I do hope I have done well. :(

Anyway! I have not been on a holiday out of the country for 4 years now since I've always had some work or the other. My father recently got a call to go to China, and so he asked me and my big sister if we wouldlike to come. Naturally, we said yes! I am very excited about the trip and I hope it happens, even though my sister has a few problems with getting leave. I will be going to Qindao, which, from what I have googled, is a coastal(eastern) state, and was ruled by the Germany and Japan. They also have a Beer street and a night market that I want to see!

I will also be going to Bombay this Wednesday. My uncle booked me a ticket using his frequent flier miles. I am so glad cause the ticket for the 55min flight is Rs.5,000 this week! That's $100! I need to go there since I need to start work, and maybe go to college to check my scores. I also have added advantages like getting to meet my best friend, Trishita who has been in England for a year, and the relationshipwith person, Sambuddha(Shom) who is leaving for the UK in August. :( Sasha, who I love, and was in Dubai for 3 months, Spriha, who is my crazy junkie. And Shruti who is my politically aware, loving, and super understanding friend.(sometimes she's too sweet, but that's fine.)
