Famous Last Words - My Chemical Romance
This song got me through some tough fights with my then best friend, now my girlfriend. At times when I thought of suicide, Famous Last Words worked wonders on my mind. As much as I like all of their songs, this is one I've always and will always hold close to me. -we've been three years strong-
The Saltwater Room - Owl City
This brought me back to the days when I was too scared to show my feelings towards my girlfriend. I was so scared to open my mouth, and this song inspired me to do so. After we had a heart to heart and I learned her feelings, I've since been thankful for Adam and his experimental musicality.
The River - Good Charlotte (feat. M. Shadows+Synyster Gates// A7x)
After listening to this song, not only did I fall in love with it but I found it was my themesong. I've been through so much, and I continue to have life experiences that make me realize this world isn't all it's cracked up to be. A lot of people believe this world is high and holy until they see things that are really eye-opening. This song is also about "finding your way back home", and with that line, I also found this as my themesong; I'm forever trying to find myself and the meaning of this life. This whole song almost described me in a nutshell.
Never Too Late - Three Days Grace
I'm a sucker for acoustic songs, and as soon as I heard this on their new album, it hooked me in, and in a way brought me closer to the band. Just as the title of this song, it let me know that it really isn't ever too late to do what's been planned, and that really helped me with a lot of my recent situations.
Ride - The Vines
Not the greatest thing to ever happen, you might think, but this song just told me to really have fun and move on with your life; don't waste time on something you're sure is not to happen. I listened to that, and, like every other song on this list, it helped me with my obstacles.
Because of these songs, I'm a much happier person.
