Me and Heather rockin out while going down the road!
Ok so this is probably the hardest thing to ever do....wow....ok so I guess this is the best I can come up with:
1) Shwayze - "Corona and Lime"
So three months ago I was in a pretty bad car wreck. I ended up having to have reconstructive surgery on my foot and couldn't walk for about a two and a half months. It was heartbreaking to me cause I'm a 20 year old girl who loves to work and have a great time in life. Well I was layin in my hospital bed in my mom's living room and was watching MTV Hitlist and it was their hitlist and they were introducing "Corona and Lime." I loved it and so I looked into them and started listenin to them and watching their show. Just watching them and hearin their summertime tunes have help keep me in good sipirts and kept a smile on my face. They currently are a constant in my ear.
2) Slipknot - "Wait and Bleed"
These guys were my way out, anger wise, when I was in high school. I was able to rock out and get those angry tendency's out without hurting someone or breaking something. They helped tame the inner beast. lol. This song, to this day, will hold good and bad memories for me but it will always be what I listen to when I just wanna get violent.
3) Saving Jane - Girl Next Door
This song will always stay close to my heart. I swear when she sings it, she is just telling the story of my life when I was in High School. I was in Marching Band and I never felt good enough even after high school, cause I wasn't the richest or prettiest thing. When I heard this song it became this huge almost theme song of my life. I felt like someone else was helping me stand up for just being the girl next door.
4)Sixx AM - Accidents Can Happen
Ok so I'm an openbook and really don't care, so I'm fixin to get really deep here with you guys. I used to be addicted to some hard drugs. It was a really dark part of mylife that still smoetimes scares me. Well I accidently slipped up one night and my two best friends told me they would never speak to me again if I did slip up. Well when I went to tell the 1st one all he did was play this song. It just reminds me that no one is perfect and shit happens. It helps when I feel the urge to do it.
5)Sublime - What I Got
This one is reaching deep into the corners of my memories. This one song when I was younger was one of my moms favorite songs. Well I grew to love it too, and when I was like in Middle school or High school I started to actually listen to the words of the song and realized that there was stuff he was talkin bout that just rang true in my life. The part that used to hit home so hard was the part bout his mom cause that was my mom all the way around. She was addicted to drugs and hung out with all the drunks and druggies, and lived 3 hours away from me as long as I can remember. It used to be like my anthem for a while cause I was broke and had really nothing to offer and was just so chill and summertime feelin. If my life could be song it would deffinatly be this one!!!
Ok so this shit may be a little plain jane or typical thing for kids to say. I really don't care cause this is how I feel and this is me if you don't like it than just ignore everything you just read. This is me like it or leave it.
