As many of you know, I'm a huge fan of Japanese Gal brand Liz Lisa. They have everything that I adore, from layers to lace, florals to frills and their new Collection is sweeter than ever! The pastel trend has been around in Tokyo for a long time and it doesn't seem to be fading anytime soon. With subcultures like Fairy Kei and Cult Party Kei using pastels everyday, Liz Lisa have now joined in and brought pastels to the Gals!
The Spring Collection is called Love Pasterine Classical Ethnic. With a range of maxi dresses, floaty tops, layers and lace, it's the perfect collection for Spring and the best addition to your wardrobe! Liz Lisa is known for it's sweet, girly style and soft, simple colours, easy to wear and blend to fit your own personal style. The main colour themes of this Collection are all pastels in blue, white, pink, orange and mint green. Mint green is the stand out colour to me because I've not seen Liz Lisa do this shade before but the colour is certainly on trend at the moment, even outside of Tokyo. The lookbook (which you can find on the Liz Lisa Website) is perfectly laid out by colour and takes you off to a dreamy Spring day...
I would say that white is probably the signiture colour of Liz Lisa. It's used in all of their Collections and mixed into almost every piece. The dress on the left hand side is such a classic Liz Lisa style, sweet, elegant and full of lace.
The pink is a fan favourite, so cute but without coming across too young. Keeping completely on trend with the maxi skirts and cropped sweaters.
I never really appreciated blue before but over the past few months I've really grown to love it so these pieces are some of my favourites. The delicate skirt with a tied denim shirt and cute floppy hat is a gorgeous ensemble but my absolute fave is the pastel blue playsuit at the top of this page. With the balloon shorts and the soft fabric, it's so prefect for a Spring day :)
Liz Lisa are seriously good at styling their LookBooks and I just adore the centre outfit with the shorts with attached suspenders and frilled shirt. It's such a cute, mature and fun outfit!
And lastly, the new Mint Green colour. I think they have done an excellent job with this shade and I absolutely love the bottom left outfit.
So, what do you think of Liz Lisa's Spring 2012 Collection? I just adore it all from the colour choices to the impeccable styling, I couldn't think of a better Spring Wardrobe to have. Keeping on trend with the mint green, the maxi sheer dress and skirts and cropped sweaters, it's a gorgeous Collection and one not to be ignored.
