for those of you not know the members of envy on the coast wrote a blog on myspace
saying how dan was leaving the band
here's what they have said
" Throughout the relatively short history of our band we have experienced a lot of milestones and we've been very fortunate to be able to share them all with you, in one medium or another. At the risk of over-explaining an impossibly complex and deeply personal issue, I'll try to be as brief as possible. We, as a band, have decided to part ways with our drummer, Dan. I can't overstate how much it pains me and the rest of the guys to have to announce the departure of one of our founding members but at the end of the day, we truly believe it is in the best interest of all parties involved to go our separate ways. We wish Dan all the future successes he deserves and hope you all will support whatever it is that he decides to do with his talent. Our new record is still moving ahead as planned and we plan to be out on the road to share it with you guys when it's done. We thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding during this emotionally demanding period in our lives.

i'm not lying if you don't believe me
i don't really know what to say about this,i'm not in a band so i don't know how it feels for a member to leave
but i'm pretty sure that it's hard to have a friend leave you,and it's hard to struggle through this when making a record
i wish dan the best luck in the future and who knows maybe he would come back
