Daily Music Dose: Anthony Green
Anthony Green, one of the most idolized singers within the scene today, is a musician from Doylestown Pennsylvania. He is the current lead singer of Circa Survive, an experimental indie-rock band, but also has a solo career – it’s a mixture of indie, bluegrass and psychobilly. He was formerly in the band, Saosin and is in the experimental rock side-project, Sounds of Animals Fighting, as the Skunk alongside Craig Owens (ex-Chiodos) and others. His first solo debut, Avalon, dropped late 2008, reaching #44 on the Billboard 200 in the US. Anthony has stated that a side-project was all this was going to be – on the side. Anthony’s life hasn’t been so cheery though. He was dyslexic since he was a child, making it hard for him to learn – he lost interest in school. He then began getting messed up on heroin and cocaine in community college, putting him in rehab for nearly a year by his family. He has come on top though. Anthony Green is someone who has withstood so much just to overcome it all with what he believes will change the world – happiness. He is getting by by just being happy! Anthony’s follow-up to Avalon, titled Beautiful Things, will come to work once Circa Survive finishes recording their third studio album.
Here are a few amazing songs off Avalon: 1. She Loves Me So live in Boston 2. Drugdealer live at SXSW 2008 3. Stonehearted Man live acoustic

This is interesting...could you please add more information about his music/musical career? ♥
Dyslexia is lifelong, by the way, not a childhood thing.
Just clarifying to the mods, this is scheduled to be tomorrow's DMD, not today's (there has been confusion before).
Thanks for the help though.
Ahh, I see. Wasn't trying to get on you about it at all (you didn't do anything wrong!).
Ugg Boots are out of season darl
