Kristen Stewart Admits Cheating On Robert Pattinson And Issues Public Apology
When news broke on July 24th that Kristen Stewart cheated on her Twilight co-star and real-life love Robert Pattinson with her 41-year-old Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, we weren't entirely sure that it was real. But Kristen has officially admitted cheating and even sent out a public apology for hurting her boyfriend Rob.
Kristen said in a statement Wednesday:
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
*UPDATE: Rupert Sanders issued a public apology to his wife Liberty Ross and their two kids!
Rupert said in a statement to PEOPLE:
"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."
*UPDATE: Rupert's wife Liberty Ross put up the following photo on Instagram, with the caption "Not so pretty or so pure after all ......" - perhaps a reaction to the photo she saw?
