Another badger killed by a car at the bottom of our lane - a huge amount of them get killed this way, probably because they are nocturnal and there is no lighting on our country roads..
Badgers have a reputation of being sweet cuddly animals but if you look at this full size you can see they have very powerful claws and teeth and will take lambs, cats and other small animals. It's also thought that they spread TB among cattle that graze where they live.
I wouldn't let Hovis near a live one that's for sure!
