Think back over the past year about the movies that were hyped, plugged, bashed, and praised. If it were up to you, what movie would you pick as the best of 2008? Did it move you? Inspire you? Confuse you? Or was it just plain freaking cool (or weird)? These movies may not get the Oscar nod for 2009, but who cares? We’re making our own Buzznet Movie World predictions. Hey, we just may get some right. You never know (but I doubt it).
So, here are my five picks for Best Picture of 2008. Which one would you choose? Don’t see your favorite on the list. Let us know in the comments; and by the end of the week, we will announce our Buzznet Movie World pick for Best Picture of 2008.
So, Hollywood releases a bunch of movies during the Thanksgiving-Christmas holiday season. It's an exciting time if you happen to love movies as much as I do, because you expect some blockbusters as well as some serious Oscar contenders to be out in theaters during this time. I have about 25 that I want to see right now during this holiday movie time period, but I'll break it down into separate lists so this doesn't become an epic poll.
Now, these first five aren't necessarily awesome or great or good. I've just seen clips and read a little backstory on three of the films. These are just films I'd like to see. So, if you had to make a choice of the five listed below, which one are you most excited to see. Or, tell me in the comments if there's a movie not listed you're excited about seeing, and maybe it can make my second list.
Halloween is around the corner but there's no talk about another movie bout this iconic insane metal freaks(though jason x is set to be released in 2010). Anyway LET US SETTLE THE SCORE BETWEEN THIS GUYS HERE.
the basis of your vote?? If you were the one who created that timeless movie who would emerge glorious? Yes imagine the two slashing each others head and cutting each others throat in the grimmest, darkest, bloodcurdling, brutal way that an insane mind could be capable of. Lets start the bloody battle!!!

So, the British bad boy, former heroin addict, sex-fiend, fired MTV-UK host (and pal of the ever beautifully lovely Noel Fielding) “technically” makes his American debut by hosting this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. Apparently, from newspapers and talk shows, and even the MTV boards themselves, most Americans will know him more for “that British guy who called the president a retard and dissed the Jonas Brothers,” instead of just “that British guy in that one movie.” So, what did you all think of Russell Brand’s hosting skillz? Elaborate in the comments if you must. I'd love to hear what y'all thought of Mr. Brand.
