OUR HISTORY.
Black Sea Design was a graphic design firm started in 2003 by Justin Lloyd alone. Over the course of a few years, fashion and design had become such a large part of Justin's life the more he designed on a freelance basis. Justin felt like he had a lot to offer the community in terms of his own designs and messages. He morphed Black Sea into a clothing company and it has since then become a popular line amongst people of all ages. Justin and his Black Sea worker bees have a passion for sharing positive messages and honest statements through thought-provoking artwork and quality, fashionable clothing. Black Sea continues to grow to this day, expanding it's diverse design collection and touching people's lives.

WHAT BLACK SEA MEANS.
Black Sea represents individuality and unity. Black Sea encourages others to be who they are, and it accepts others without prejudice. Black Sea inspires others to be who they strive to be, to be the better person that they know they can be, and for the right reasons. Black Sea is about love. Black Sea is about loving one another and loving oneself. Black Sea is about realizing when we are not loving one another and oneself, and taking the steps needed to do so. Black Sea is fashion, music, friendship and so much more. Black Sea is making a difference, even if it is one small voice. Black Sea is not just a mission statement, but an action. Black Sea is not just clever words, but it is going beyond the call of duty to make this world a more beautiful place, a home where we can all freely express ourselves without being persecuted for it.

OUR PRODUCTS.
The majority of our merchandise is printed on sweatshop-free, high quality, well-fitting clothing. There are items here and there that we produce that are not available sweat-shop free, but we stick to that as much as possible because it is important to us to be supporting those who are fair to their workers. We now print with thinner inks that do not produce uncomfortable, thick areas where the designs appear. Our items are manufactured and printed by trained professionals that seek accuracy. The designs are created by a passionate designer who strives to not only create eye-catching artwork, but to spread a message with it. We aren't just another clothing company, and that is why we are not throwing mediocre graphics onto stale-feeling t-shirts for $10 a piece like so many others out there do.

WHAT WE DO WITH OUR PRODUCTS.
Rather than printing thousands of pieces of the same few designs, we print small quantities of many designs. It keeps each design and style of clothing special. It also prevents the Hot Topic syndrome (you go to a show and see 80 different kids wearing the same shirt you bought yesterday). We try to make designs for everyone. Although we do not strive to appeal to any particular crowd purposefully, we do believe that no matter what type of music you listen to, or what kind of art you are a fan of, chances are there is something for you in our online store.

WHO WE ARE.
Justin Lloyd runs the company. He does all the design work, does a lot of promotion, takes care of most of the business business matters, advertising, some of the photography, a million and one other things. Megan McGaughey does secretary stuff, is president of the Myspace and a lot of our accounts on networking websites, the street team, business stuff, and much more. Dan Harnish runs the Myspace for Black Sea Promo and has an extremely active role in the street team. Nick Roccanti runs the online store and most of the shipping. There are lots of people who partake in the printing and art preparation such as Iain Hursey, Colby Aitchison, Chris Martin and Alex Tchekmeian to name a few. Megan Lloyd does some modeling and lots of the photography. Kevin Wildt does photography for us, as well. We have lots of various models like Kris Fulton, Helen Kendal, Kyle Durfy and many more. We have tons of great street team members such as Lauren Garrett and Sean Ferry.
