Army Of Purple Hoodies

Cobra Starship's third album, Hot Mess, is coming out August eleventh and neon-clad fankids and mainstream radio fanatics are shivering with excitement. However, "excitement" may not be the first word that came to the minds of many Buzznet users when they first saw Cobra's album artwork. Srsly?

So did anyone else catch Cobra Starship tonight on Jimmy Kimmel?

I have one thing to say and that's- WHY NATE?! FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING COBRA WHY?! Did you loose a bet? Something? Are you joining the army? Please grow it back to it's lovely length again!

*ahem* Now that that's out of my system...

Ryland looked absolutely delicious tonight with his black and blue outfit and perfectly styled hair. His mike should have been turned up higher but his electric piano came in loud and clear. Alex was his usual adorable, energetic self in his shirt and ti ensemble and was rocking out with his mad bass skillz. Victoria looked hot in black tights, short black shorts, and a cute red top. And Gabe. Ahh Gabe. He wore his 'glasses', very awesome grey jeans, a lime green long sleeve shirt, lime and teal nikes, and an eclectic black top with colorful stripes as he danced like  maniac around the stage. I'm kinda upset that he didn't pop his hood up but, oh well.

Basically they played for the last 5 minutes of the show and I stayed up till 1 am to watch them perform Guilty Pleasure and then the beginning of The City Is At War before they were cut off the screen when the program ended. Gabe ad libbed some of the lyrics to say "I came here to kick some ass tonight!" and "Screw em if they can't take a joke". Some girls in the front row were doing the couch dance from the Guilty Pleasure video and all in all it was a good performance. I wish Jimmy had interviewed them a little bit or something but I suppose it was nice of him to let them play.

Yesterday,
   I arrived at the middle east Cambridge massachusetts at 11:30am to wait in line to see Cobra Starship. It was fucking cold as hell yesterday and my feet and hand was becoming numb but it was fucking worth it. I was kind of pissed that the people Middle east made people hang out in the cold till 1pm that the let in time. I was lucky I got there at 11:30am, by 11:30 to 1PM the line gotten so long it was fucking down the street.

        By 1:30pm the cab was the first band to perform they were fucking awesome I can't wait till for there new album which come out in April. The second band that came on was we are kings they were okay not my favorite but okay. By three o clock the metro station hit the stage. Okay the bass player of the band Travis Cyrus (yeah he's Miley Cyrus brother odd huh) because he totally deck ouet in piercing and tattoos you never thought in a million years he was related to Miley Cyrus. Metro Station was fucking awesome. I thought Travis was fucking addorable he so damn cute. Though some girl thought he was making eye contact with her, I think he was making eye contact with me hehhee.

       In addition I ran into some my friends who I met through OCK I saw at the young and wild things  tour last novemeber. By 4:00pm Gabe and Crew hit the stage. They started off playing the song City at war which got everyone in the room fucking pumped up I was so singing the fucking song till my lungs gave out. Also i was pretty close to the stage for the duration of the whole concert.

          Also I like for an encore they did couple of acoustic set from there first album, before performing guilty pleasure. The crowd also sang happy birthday to victoria and celebrated her first year with the band. Gabe pulled a kid on stage to sing Travis part from the song bring the snake on the plane theme song. I got admit the lead singer from TAI is so fucking damn cute.

       During the show the band learned what is it mean to be closticfobic the downstair middle east being so small everyone was gainging up on the band. They kept asking the audience to move like 2-3 step backward because everyone was piling on top of each other. Gabe and Ryland with the low ceiling was both hitting there heads for being so fucking tall, and Gabe tried to steal someone fanny pack.
  
   I got Ryland to hug my build a bear I named Cobra Starship at the concert, I try to give it to gabe but I think his girlfriend got pissed at me hehehe.

        Okay fucking concert etiquette, first if you know your in a fucking small venue as the middle east is respect everyone who's trying to get out or give me them some fucking space. Because I did not fucking enjoy having my fucking hair being pulled on by some little fucking teenie jackass who's think pulling my hair from 1:30pm to 5:00pm will get me to move everywhere. Second I know people like to dance and have fun if you know someone stuck on the side near the railing don't stick your stinky ass arm pit in there face or kick, squish them because your not aware here there a person standing next to you. Third to those who fucking were thearting others because someone put there hand on their head. Wake the fuck up you are at a small venue at the middle east again what the fuck your going do. Finally if someone does move for you so you can get out just say thank you or sorry instead of cussing them out.
