Thanks, my lens helped out quite a bit. We were driving through the preserve and spotted him, so I switched out my lenses real quick and took this from inside my car. I didn't want to scare him off. I figured it would be the only time we would've probably seen one. :D
She looks really skinny you can see her ribs.....Could it be a baby ? Great closeup shot : )
Someone else mentioned that. IDK, I def did look smaller than a full grown doe. They run free all over the preserve....maybe the heat is keeping them thinner...IDK...

Yeah, it's on the outskirts of town, but it's by the lake, so there is like a bunch of hiking trails and stuff. It's a pretty cool place to go and super cheap entertainment, plus there's tons of wildlife out there, like deers and alligators and they have some buffalo (They are behind fences though) and other things. It's pretty cool!
I wish I had wild dear here. All I have around my house are wild bunnies. Oh and a turtle, who I am pretty sure is wild. Either that or somebody just left him one day which forced him to become a savage [turtle].
Back on topic, that deer is adorable. I've always wanted to see one in person.
