I got back from Cologne last night and I had a truly wonderful weekend with my family. I met a friend in Siegburg on Friday, picked up my sister at the airport and had a fun game night with everyone. On Saturday, our uncle and aunt came over for lunch, my sister and mother went shopping while I sat in the backyard in 30°C weather and sunshine. Sunday was my cousin's Holy Communion, the whole procedure was really lovely and we celebrated at an Italian restaurant. On Monday, we drove my sister to the airport and went over to my uncle's house to eat more cake in the afternoon and I went on a walk with my grandparents in the evening. :)

I spent a lot of time reading and knitting, enjoying life and spending time with my lovely family. It's definitely what I needed because uni is about to get really busy and I have tons to do. I'm getting a bunch of stuff done this morning, have a long class this afternoon and a game night to look forward to tonight!
