My son Jordan is in the Marine Corps (in case you don't know because I have some great new friends on here)!  On the 15th they sent him to Okinawa, Japan for the next two years!  He just this week got done with the medical and check in process!  He was assigned his permanent room in the barracks!  He found out last night that he is being deployed to Korea on Saturday for an undetermined amount of time!  He will be doing training missions and distributing food I think!  It is so hard to talk to him there because there is a delay in the phone calls!  Plus with the time difference it is hard to talk without someone getting woken up and tired! I can't wait to get my "new to me" computer so that when he returns to Okinawa we can Skype!  I am going nuts with all the changes that seems to be constant!  The Marine Corps doesn't give much notice!  He left for boot camp with a 2 hours notice!  He was just gone!  In Korea he won't have any phone or computer, so we may be back to writing letters!  It will depend on whether or not we get an address!  This is Jordan and his grandma on 2-9-12! We had a wonderful breakfast at Bob Evans!  He won't even have a chance to call his grandparents to explain or say goodbye!  He has to be cleared to travel and he leaves during the night!  He is certainly seeing the world ! (:I am so proud of my children!!!
