Though the Emmys are one of the classiest and respected awards shows on television, there isn't really an award show without a wee bit of drama!

On a pre-Emmy edition of E!'s "Fashion Police," Modern Family star Sarah Hyland poked some fun at Glee's princess Lea Michele! When asked by host Joan Rivers to impersonate Lea Michele on the red carpet, Hyland played along! She stated:

"It's just like, she puts her hands on her hips like this and sticks out her collarbone ... to make her look skinnier, and she (makes duckface) sticks out her lips."

Getting the roar of laughter that Fashion Police judges normally seek, Hyland simply made a joke with no harm done...right?!

WRONG!

If you are a Gleek, you very well know you DO NOT mess with the cast of Glee! Gleeks surged to twitter and sent Hyland a flow of messages defending Michele. What's Hylands response via twitter?

"Congrats Lea. U know how to work the red carpet. I can't take it as seriously as you. That's all I wanted to show on FP. It's strange to me. I can't take myself that seriously. I don't like the red carpet. I feel silly. So props to her for knowing what she's doing and enjoying it. But I won't apologize. I'm an outspoken person. I own what I said about that outfit. And I mimicked what I saw with my own two eyes."

Oh, but she wasn't done. Hyland continued to defend herself stating:

Meow! Hyland later tweeted Michele saying that things had gotten to be "stupid" and she requested, "let's talk." Check out the clip below of Hyland, on last night's Emmys red carpet, continuing to NOT apologize but simply excuse her previous statements towards Lea!
