The review of my Wireless-day continues. Check the first part here if you haven`t yet.
After Pitbull`s show, the new British sensation, Labrinth came on stage. I have to say I wasn`t so sure I want to see this because I`ve only heard the name "Labrinth" before but not his music. The live show convinced me how talented he is. And he can sing really good live! Although this was Labrinth`s first show on the main stage, he made a great party and everyone went nuts. Once, he was singing about the sun to come out and it really did come out! Told ya the weather was programed. Then we`ve expressed ourselves and finally the audience made an earthquake. Not litereally, it wasn`t that programed though. Luckily.
I`m absolutely sure, I`ve found my new favourite artist. Beauty of live shows. If there are songs people only should hear live, then "Eathquake" definitley is one of them. The style is slightly different from what I`ve been listening these days but I like it. I can`t listen British rock all the time after all. And Labrinth can play the guitar! So it was some kind of rock show.
After that, Rizzle Kicks from Brighton (UK) were up. They might be familiar to you from the Olly Murs song, "Heart Skips A Beat". They are quite big stars in the UK now too. I enjoyed their show. And everyone else as well.
One Rizzle was gettin` shirtless...
...and the other Rizzle was slightly tired.
The final show for today`s post goes for rapper, J. Cole. I have no idea who he is but I can say I`ve been at a rap show now. I also have no idea why was he at the main stage. A lot of people were on the same opinion. Except the two girls next to us who were mental! Screaming "I love you J. Cole!!!!!!!", shaking, crowd surfing (!), crying, juming over people, etc. They weren`t even able to take photos of him. They were in total catharsis. I could only imagine seeing this at a Justin Bieber concert (where I obviously wouldn`t go) until that moment. And after this incident, they were the one`s who freaked out when people were pushing and sqeezing them!
Somtimes it was raining heavily like this. And that is not an advertisment for Hilton! Just happened.
And sometimes the sky was pretty like this.
Even Perez Hilton showed up on the big screen!
I don`t remember any memorable moment from that part of the day except we were really bummed about how long did we have to wait between two performances and couldn`t go to toilet because the crowd was big and if we left our place at the front, the crowd wouldn`t let us back.
I`m going to post the last part of the review tomorrow, including Jessie J, Rihanna and about the complication on my way back home. You know I can`t get home, after a day in central London, without travelling issues. :D
