Avenged Sevenfold neared the end of their 6 month North American tour with the first of two epic hometown Southern California concerts on Thursday night, at The Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California on April 16, 2009. Following a performance in San Diego they close their tour at the opening of The New Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 18th.
The band has been on the road for more than a year in support of the 2007 self-produced self-titled release "Avenged Sevenfold" and most recently their DVD/CD release "Avenged Sevenfold - Live In The LBC & Diamonds In The Rough". With this touring cycle finished they'll be heading back to the studio to begin work on their next album.
