Oh 2012, where have you gone? Have you been swatted underneath the couch in the living room of my heart like some forgotten ball of yarn? Have you been brushed aside like so much Fresh Scoop from the litter box of my mind? This year has come and gone at a strange leisure. Much like some back alley tom cat that has knocked over its last trash can in search of morsels, I search for meaning in the wasteland of this year, and I have come to find it in internet cats. Perhaps I have been watching too many Henri videos. Perhaps I have not had enough time with Snoopy. Perhaps I should get this show on the road, lest you look upon me in contempt as though you have taken on the disposition of Tardar Sauce the Cat. Without any further adieu or paws for self reflection, please enjoy some of my favorite internet cats from this year.

Ever since One Direction's instant success in the UK boiled over to the United States, they have been winning over hearts and working non-stop. Between selling over 3 million albums worldwide, being inducted into the Guiness World Records, performing at the 2012 Summer Olympics and releasing a second album, 2012 was a busy year for these charming guys. Can't believe another year is coming to an end. I've gotten to experience some great shows this year and some I even got to photograph. So here it is, my Best 10 Photos of 2012 . 1. What was your favorite show to shoot for Buzznet this year? My favorite show to shoot for Buzznet is a hard one to pick. Getting to photograph One Direction playing their first NYC show was awesome, not to mention Big Time Rush were amazing to shoot. Q102's Springle Ball was also an amazing experience, getting to photograph some top acts. One show that was near and dear to my heart had to be photographing one of Armor For Sleep's last shows, they were a band that I have been listening to for years. 2. Any great moments you can share? When shooting at Q102's Springle Ball there was two stages, the main one and a small one in the back of the stadium where the smaller acts would be performing. Enr

Plaid is such an overlooked pattern. Ultra boldacious floral prints and retro polka dotsm get a lot fo attention, but where can we get some of this lumber chicness in? Well, thanks to starlets like Selena Gomez and the royalty, Kate Middleton, they show that plaid is certainly rad. So, who else likes plaid? You'll be surprised that many like to rock the plaid! Everyone's a critic these days. Thank goodness for the internet, lest all the gems in my brain that I think of remain unshared and wasted. As I sit here upon my Throne of Judge-ery for this most time honored tradition, I am reminded of art I cannot make, songs I cannot create. I am not judging the music of these albums, just the aesthetic choices put forth by whomever culled these pearly treasures that should've stayed shut in the oyster of despair from whence they came. Wow! This year has gone by REALLY fast. This was really hard to decde what were my favorite photos of 2012. I had the opportunity to cross off 7 bands of ye old bucket list and that's pretty awesome. So choosing just 10 was a really difficult task. But with that being said, here are my 10 favorites from 2012. (Xander's Note: I couldn't do it. I had to break the rules and go to 22.) Oh yeah and before I forget... 1. What was your favorite show to shoot for Buzznet this year? Ugh! There were so many and most of them were bucket list bands. I would have to say it's a three way tie between Dave Matthews Band, Slipknot (I was one of 2 photogs in the pit) and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Hon mention would go to Jane's Addiction. 2.
