What’s Coming To Netflix In November 2019
Netflix has added a bunch of new and fan-favorite movies, TV shows, comedy specials, and more for November 2019. With the holiday season right around the corner there are plenty of things to watch to get everyone in the spirit. Also, the wait is over as many Netflix originals such as The Crown and Atypical are back with new seasons.
Since Netflix has to compete with other streaming platforms including Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Disney+ they were able to create a list of highly anticipated films and shows that keep customers binge watching as long as they can.
The Crown’s Third Season Comes With Big Changes
Queen Elizabeth II is one of the most prolific historical figures of all time. Netflix took her life story and turned it into an original series called The Crown. The first two seasons chronicled her life in early adulthood, but that’s all about to change for season three.
Olivia Colman replaced Claire Foy as the queen because the third season skips ahead 20 years. There are also recastings for Prince Philip (Tobias Menzies) and Princess Margaret (Helena Bonham Carter). Reviewers praise the series for its high production value, superb acting, and perfectly-planned narrative structure. All of season three will be available November 17.
Hard Questions Are Finally Answered on Atypical
Netflix has such a wide range of original content that it can be difficult to watch everything. One of their standout shows is Atypical, the story of a teen on the spectrum who is trying to navigate his independence. The third season was released on November 1 and dealt with Sam going off to college on his own.
The season introduced some new characters such as Sam’s new college professors played by well-known actors Eric McCormack and Sara Gilbert. It also touched on his parents’ (Jennifer Jason Leigh and Michael Rapaport) rocky relationship and his sister’s (Brigette Lundy-Paine) internal struggle to face the truth.
The End Of The Fxxxing World Switches Up Its Lead Actors
The End of the Fxxxing World’s first season ended with a massive cliffhanger, which left fans wondering the fate of the lead actors. The second season is ready to stream and will hopefully answer viewers’ lingering questions.
Not too much information has been released on the plot for season two, but it’s public knowledge that Alyssa (Jessica Barden) will be teaming up with a new character played by Naomi Ackie (pictured right). Also, since the soundtrack of the first season received critical acclaim musician Graham Coxon will be returning with a new one for season two.
Queer Eye: We’re in Japan! Puts A New Twist On Make-Overs
The fab five members are back with a new mini series that takes place on the other side of the world. Queer Eye: We’re in Japan! uses the same format as their usual show, but now they get to make-over some hopeful Japanese people. Throughout the way they get to learn some common Japanese culture and customs.
This season proves that even though there’s a language barrier, it still doesn’t detract from their success in both transforming and connecting to their clients. All episodes are currently streaming.
Timothée Chalamet Takes the Lead in The King
At the young age of 23, Timothée Chalamet has already led an eventful acting career. He became the first male born after 1990 to be nominated for a Lead Acting Oscar for 2017’s Call Me by Your Name and has starred in other prestigious films including Lady Bird and Beautiful Boy.
His newest movie role is King Henry V of England in The King opposite Robert Pattinson and Lily-Rose Depp. The plot involves the young king navigating his new title at the palace after his father leaves. All Chalamet fans don’t need to wait any longer to watch because it was released November 1.
Look for These Guest Actors in How to Be a Latin Lover
This film may not be for everyone, but there are some snippets that make it worth watching. How to Be a Latin Lover stars Eugenio Derbez as a man who is used to seducing rich older women to live a life of luxury. When his wife dumps him after 25 years he is forced to learn the value of true love and family.
While the storyline is predictable, there are some guest acting appearances that add a bit of humor. Stars such as Kristen Bell, Rob Lowe, and Michael Cera pop in for a scene of two. How to Be a Latin Lover is now streaming.
Step Brothers Remains a Comedy Staple
Not only has Step Brothers been named one of the greatest comedies of the 21st century, but it’s one of the few to gross over $100 million. Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly gave some memorable performances playing two grown men who become step brothers forced to move in together.
There are a ton of scenes that are pure comedy gold with lines that will be repeated decades later. The casting, acting, and writing are extremely well done with absurdity, cleverness, and pure joy all the way through. The movie became available to stream on November 1.
Remember to Rewatch Zombieland Before Seeing the Sequel
Earlier this year the public got to reunite with the original cast of Zombieland in their sequel that was released ten years after the original. Those who want to watch Zombieland before seeing Zombieland: Double Tap should look no further than Netflix.

The Toys That Made Us Brings Back Those Nostalgic Childhood Memories
Toys are something that many people around the world can look back on with fondness as they grow up. Netflix’s The Toys That Made Us takes popular toy franchises such as Barbie, Hello Kitty, and Lego and tells the story of their rise, and sometimes fall, in the toy industry.

This is a great show parents can watch with their kids because parents remember the toys when they were originally released and can share their childhood experiences.
The Great British Baking Show: Holidays Is As Wholesome As Can Be
Those looking for clean and wholesome content should look no further than The Great British Baking Show: Holidays. It’s Already Time For Nailed It!: Holiday!

Nailed It! stands apart from other baking shows because it adds comedy from host/judge/actress/comedienne Nicole Byer, while also showing the usually horrendous-looking finished products made by the contestants. Also, every episode has a celebrity guest host ranging from famous comedians to talented chefs.
Why Everyone Is Watching Billy On The Street
Billy Eichner took the man on the street approach to his pop culture and music game show Billy on the Street. In each episode he interviews and plays a game with both famous celebrities and strangers he finds on the street. Some of his most memorable guests include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell, and Stephen Colbert.
One of his best segments is called “For A Dollar” where he will run up to strangers and either ask them a subjective pop culture question or just scream random buzzwords in their face. Seasons two through five are currently streaming on Netflix.
Emma Roberts Gets Culture Shocked in Wild Child
Emma Roberts has acted since she was a young kid, most likely inspired by her aunt Julia Roberts, and has quite the variety in her filmography. In 2008 she played a spoiled Malibu teen who gets shipped off to a strict English boarding school in Wild Child.
Although it wasn’t a worldwide smash hit it did a good job of reflecting the teenage “MTV” culture of that era. Some noteworthy cast members included Natasha Richardson (The Parent Trap), Juno Temple (Maleficent), and Georgia King (The New Normal). This teen romantic comedy is now available to stream.
Let It Snow: An Upcoming Christmas Romantic Comedy

Learn How To Crash A Wedding
When Wedding Crashers first released, it was a comic triumph. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn had a chemistry like no other and supporting cast members Rachel McAdams and Bradley Cooper were stellar.
It would be highly irresponsible to release a film of this nature these days. It pretty much shows men objectifying women, but towards the end, they find love. It’s still worth a watch, but don’t go out trying to duplicate what these funnymen did.
They’re Coming For You!
With the third and final installment of Bad Boys slated for an early 2020 release, Netflix decided to bring the original back to streaming services. It’s Will Smith and Martin Lawrence at their finest.
