Emma Watson Opens Up About Her Love Life

Emma Watson is one celeb who is often very quiet and private when it comes to her love life. However, during a recent interview with British Vogue, the actress opened up about her current love life and how growing up in a society with big expectations has affected her.

Watson told the magazine that she currently does not have a boyfriend, but that she's happy about it.

"I never believed the whole 'I'm happy single’ spiel. I was like, ‘This is totally spiel.’ It took me a long time, but I’m very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered," said Watson.

She also spoke about how the pressure to be at a certain place in life by a certain age had a bigger effect on her than she realized. The actress turns 30 years old next April (I know, can you believe it? We feel old too) and says that there's a lot of pressure on this age.

"I was like, 'Why does everyone make such a big fuss about turning 30? This is not a big deal,'" said Watson "Cut to 29, and I'm like, ‘Oh my God, I feel so stressed and anxious. And I realize it’s because there is suddenly this bloody influx of subliminal messaging around."

"If you have not built a home, if you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby, and you are turning 30, and you're not in some incredibly secure, stable place in your career, or you’re still figuring things out… There’s just this incredible amount of anxiety," she continued.

Watson has a point and we love her for saying who cares about the pressure! 30 is the new 20 nowadays, so we applaud her for doing things at her own pace and inspiring other women who also might not have their stuff totally together by 30.
