We read so much gossip about high-profile couples that it’s easy to forget that some celebrities date just normal or significantly less famous people. With the strains that celebrities go through because of their public images, it seems to make sense that they would date people who understand the struggles of the industry.
However, some celebrities end up finding love with low-profile citizens that most of us have never heard of. Here are some regular guys who ended up having kids with famous women:
Scarlett Johansson’s French Fling
Scarlett Johansson’s ex-husband and father of her daughter Rose-Dorothy was pretty unknown prior to marrying the actress. She started dating Romain Dauriac in 2012, and they married in 2014 shortly after the birth of their daughter.
Dauriac was born in France, and he owns a creative advertising agency. The couple divorced in 2017, with Scarlett stating that she doesn’t think she believes in marriage. However, she is currently engaged to SNL writer Colin Jost.
Xtina And Her Man Out Of The Spotlight
Christina Aguilera has been in the spotlight since her first gig on the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in 1993, so dating outside of the limelight might be a bit of a relief. She’s had two children with non-stars. She had her first child, Max, with 2005-2011 husband Jordan Bratman, a marketing executive.
She’s currently engaged to Matthew Rutler, who she met in 2010 when he was working as an assistant on her film Burlesque. The two share five-year old daughter Summer.
Shay Mitchell’s Boyfriend Is Hopefully Not A Pretty Little Liar
Pretty Little Liars and YOU star Shay Mitchell announced the birth of her baby girl on Instagram on Oct. 20. The father is Canadian journalist and television host for Canada Sings Matte Babel, and he has publicly been dating Shay since January 2017.
Mitchell opened up about the previous miscarriage she and Babel faced in 2018 earlier this year, and she documented and shared her pregnancy experience through a Youtube series called “Almost Ready”.

While both of them didn’t particularly find marriage to be important to them, the pair ended up getting married in 2008. Since then, they’ve had three children: Honor (11), Haven (8), and Hayes (2).
Daphne Didn’t Try To Get A Taste Of Her Own Medicine
Daphne Oz is the daughter of the famous Dr. Oz, who has appeared on his daytime television show multiple times. She went outside of STEM fields to find her man. Daphne met future-husband John Jovanic, an investment fund analyst, while at college. The two married in 2010; they had one civil ceremony and two religious ones.
