M3F Celebrates 16th Year!

I’m so happy I got to attend the 16th year of M3F, Arizona’s 100% nonprofit music festival in Downtown Phoenix.  This year the festival raised $509,000 for local charities (including Phoenix Children’s Hospital Music Therapy Program, Habitat for Humanity of Northern Arizona and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society).  I loved how this festival brought people together from all over Arizona (and beyond) to show their support for their hometown music festival. All of the charities were even on site all weekend educating festivalgoers on the importance of their causes. 37 bands also played the festival with a lineup of diverse genres (electronic, indie roots and jam bands).  I’m already looking forward to next year!
