Groove Cruise Miami 2019 Takes Over Cozumel, Mexico

Groove Cruise veterans and virgins alike came together on Thursday, January 10th to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of the world’s premier electronic music cruise… and there’s no doubt that it was more than a success!  The perfect way to star the new year was what started in 2004 as a group of 125 thrill-seeking house-heads (led by founder Jason Beukema) sailing on a cruise together.  It has now erupted into the world’s first and largest floating dance music festival. Setting sail on the award-winning Celebrity Cruises’ Infinity from Ft. LauderdaleFlorida, the sold-out event welcomed thousands of attendees from around the world.  Attendees enjoyed four straight days of beach, pool and theme parties, great food and a whopping 50+ artists! In addition to the standard cruise amenities, there are also artist activities, yoga classes paired with deep house, costume parties, and various onboard events that rival the best dance music festivals in the world.

This particular cruise traveled to the tropical island paradise of Cozumel, Mexico where they were greeted by the legendary sounds of headliner Kaskade, who delivered a show-stopping 3-hour set. Back onboard the ship, the party showed no signs of slowing down — from silent discos to hip hop stages, attendees had an assortment of options to satisfy their music-loving needs.  This proved to be an unforgettable experience for attendees of the beloved floating festival, celebrating community, togetherness, and a shared love of music on the high seas.
