Award season is officially upon us, ladies and gentlemen. You know what that means! It's time to see some very fancy and very expensive dresses. The Golden Globes set the tone for the rest of award season. The trends we saw this evening may continue into the Oscars, the SAG Awards, and eventually, the Tonys.

Keep reading to find out what all of your favorite stars wore to this high-class affair. Spoiler alert: warm nude tones were definitely a thing.

Sandra Oh hosted the Golden Globe Awards this year, so she wore a whole bunch of different outfits throughout the evening. Most of those outfits were white and featured some kind of flowy sleeve.

She won her second Golden Globe in this little number, which is both totally unique and totally classic. On Sunday, Oh made history when she became the first Asian host of the Golden Globe Awards as well as the first woman of Asian descent to win multiple Golden Globes.

In her acceptance speech, Sandra Oh thanked Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the creative mind behind Sandra Oh's show, Killing Eve. Killing Eve is a British television series about an investigator who's tracking down a female sociopathic serial killer. Before Killing Eve, Waller-Bridge created and starred in a show called Fleabag.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge showed up to the Golden Globes wearing a shiny red dress because if you're going to walk the red carpet, you have to look the part.

Regina King won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in A Motion Picture for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk. She showed up to the award ceremony looking like a gorgeous disco ball.

I love the neckline of this dress. It's really doing wonders for her figure. It almost looks like the dress is made of mirrors and it's just reflecting the red from the red carpet.

Michael Douglas' show, The Kominsky Method, won a Golden Globe on Sunday for Best Television Series, Musical Or Comedy. Douglas does look pretty dapper in his tux, but you and I both know that everybody was really looking at Catherine Zeta-Jones.

It's always a risk to wear green on the red carpet because green and red can often clash, but I think, in this case, Catherine just stands out as a pop of green amid a sea of red.

Kate Mara attended the Golden Globe Awards to support her Pose castmates. Her castmate Billy Porter was nominated in the Best Actor category for his work on the series.

Mara looks like an elegant goddess in this silver and peach empire-waist Miu Miu gown with a triangular peek-a-boo cut-out. Warm tones like peach seemed to be a trend at this year's award show. Keep reading to see how more actresses put their own spin on warm colors.

I don't know about you, but I was pretty surprised when Patricia Clarkson won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (that's a mouthful) for her role in Sharp Objects.

Patricia Clarkson was excellent in that series, but Sharp Objects didn't get nearly as much attention as some of the other films and series in that category. Check out Patricia's red dress, though, because it looks almost too good to be true.

Can we talk about Olivia Colman for a minute? In my humble opinion, nobody in that room the other night deserved to win a Golden Globe more than her. Colman's been nominated for a Golden Globe twice, and now she's won a Golden Globe twice, so that's two for two.

Her performance in The Favourite was my favorite of the year, and just look at how adorable she looks in that little black dress.

Speaking of The Favourite, Emma Stone was nominated for a supporting role in that very same movie. She showed up to the Golden Globes wearing this classic, '20s inspired peach and silver frock. See, I told you peach was going to be a thing.

This dress goes perfectly with Emma's porcelain skin and red hair. While Emma didn't take home the award this time, she's certainly in the running for best dressed. This woman always looks gorgeous, though.

Let's take a slight sidestep away from peach for a moment and take a look a Claire Foy's gorgeous yellow dress. I think this yellow is the perfect shade of yellow, and while I'm not usually a fan of satin, a think Claire is making the fabric work for her. The embroidery is stunning and those drop down earrings perfectly compliment this simple, yet elegant outfit.

Claire Foy was nominated for a Golden Globe this year for her performance in First Man.

Jameela Jamil showed up to the Golden Globe Awards as part of the ensemble of The Good Place, which was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy. It looks like Jameela got the peach memo because she showed up to the red carpet looking like a real-life Princess Peach.

This layered dress looks good enough to eat. It's a bit of a deeper peach than Emma Stone and Kate Mara's dresses.

Sam Esmail and Emmy Rossum look like the prince and princess of the Golden Globes. Emmy's dress isn't exactly peach, it's more of a pinky mauve. It is peach-adjacent, though. She's definitely aware of this year's trends.

Emmy is wearing a Monique Lhuillier dress, Roger Vivier shoes, and Niwaka jewelry. By the way, in case you've been living under a rock, Emmy Rossum is married to Sam Esmail, who is the creator of Mr. Robot.

Chrissy Metz presented an award at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards, but you probably know her best as Kate Pearson on This Is Us. Chrissy definitely came to slay in this bright red dress that goes perfectly with the Golden Globe's red carpet.

She paired her red dress with a red lip and a dark, dramatic eye makeup look. Chrissy is definitely bringing the glamor, and I am definitely here for it. You go, girl.

Ok, hold up, the award for best peach dress of the night goes to Constance Wu, hands down. This dress is absolutely stunning. I love how both Constance Wu and Emma Stone chose peach tones that really were true nudes for their skin tones.

That orange sash is everything. Constance Wu was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy. She may not have taken home the trophy, but I think she won the red carpet.

In the end, that award went to Sandra Oh, but Julia still slayed on the red carpet. Here's another actress who heard that peach was in this year, but she's broken up the neutral color with a pop of black.

Lucy Boynton played Mary Austin in Bohemian Rhapsody, so she showed up to the Golden Globe as a part of that film's ensemble. She also accompanied Rami Malek as his date, since these two became boyfriend and girlfriend while they were making the Queen biopic.

Lucy looks absolutely gorgeous in this fully gold dress. I think she looks like a ray of freaking sunshine. Lucy Boynton also played Raphina in the Irish movie Sing Street.

Lili Reinhart's red Khyeli dress was definitely a bold choice. She even managed to match her vibrant eyeshadow to her eye-catching dress. Lili looks like she's swimming in chiffon, and honestly, I'm not mad about it.

Yeah, it's a little much, but it's the Golden Globes. There's no better place to wear a dress this overwhelming. I wonder what Lili's beau Cole Sprouse thinks about this look? Speaking of Cole Sprouse, I wonder where he was that evening?

Penelope played fashion designer Donatella Versace, so what I want to know is why didn't she wear Versace to the award ceremony? This celestial dress by Ralph & Russo is nice, but it's not really on theme.

Andy Samberg hosted the Golden Globes this year (alongside Sandra Oh) so he wore several outfits over the course of the evening. He walked the red carpet in a charcoal grey tux while looking very much in love with his lovely wife, musician Joanna Newsom.

Joanna looked as whimsical as ever in this Rodarte gown. This dress looks as though someone boiled down Joanna Newsom to her essential being, and then wove that into a perfect (peachy) dress.

Ol looks very dapper in this all-black suit. He's making a strong statement, but he's also letting Thandie literally shine. Thandie's bold eye, nude lip, and voluminous hair totally take this look right over the top. It's very futuristic and very fitting.

Eighth Grade was definitely one of my favorite films of 2018, and I was so excited when Elsie was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance as Kayla. She showed up to the awards ceremony in this stunning red velvet suit. This girl is only 15 years old, and she's already an icon.

Alison Brie was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for her role on Glow. I love how her red carpet dress combines the softness of periwinkle blue tuille with the fierceness of a metallic, studded bandeau.

There's nothing like juxtaposition to take a red carpet look from average to absolutely stunning. Alison Brie looks as beautiful as ever. She didn't end up winning in her category, but I think this dress is a real winner.

There's no question that Lady Gaga had the biggest dress at this year's Golden Globe Awards. Eagle-eyed fans of A Star is Born noticed that Lady Gaga's dress looks very similar to a dress worn by Judy Garland in the 1954 version of the film.

Gaga wore some icy jewelry, and even dyed her hair to match her dress. Once again, Lady Gaga proves that she's the queen of high fashion. Nobody else could pull off a look this outrageous.
