Behold, The Most Expensive And Lavish Handbags In The World
The Wall Street Journal conducted a study in 2013 and found the average American woman owns eleven purses. In 2015, handbag sales in the U.S. reached $11.5 billion. Women aren’t making spontaneous purse purchases either. The same study found that 40 percent of women ages 18-34 shop for their next purse for around 30 days. The handbags on this list are lavish and over-the-top luxurious. Made with thousands of diamonds and exotic leathers and furs, these are the world’s most expensive handbags.

The Rose Gold Hermes Kelly is a collaboration between designers Pierre Hardy and Hermes Kelly. The bag is solid rose gold with a total of 1,160 diamonds inlaid to the bag. Considering that the handbag is only big enough to fit a cell phone, it can be worn as a bangle or traditionally, although it may look and feel a little awkward.
The rose gold has been molded to look like crocodile leather, and the flap opens which may surprising considering its small size. There were twelve of these bags made in four different styles and took two years to manufacture all of them.
See the bag that looks like a ball of chains but is the fourth most expensive in the world.
