Our Favorite TV Introverts Of All Time

Society often makes us think that it’s cooler to be an extrovert. If you’ve got loads of confidence, love going out, and are the life and soul of the party, then you’re just a more fun person, right?

Wrong. There’s a lot to be said for being introverted, too. Spending time alone is healthy and can be necessary given this crazy world we live in. Plus, introverts tend to be reliable, trustworthy, and have better judgment. We’ve picked out our favorite TV introverts that shun company for quiet time, paving the way for us to do the same.

Draw the blinds, turn your phone off, and join us as we take a look at these awesomely introverted characters.

Sure, he’s a serial killer, but there was something so enigmatic and well… charming… about Dexter Morgan. For a start, he quenches his thirst for blood by only killing those that are deserving of death, like murderers or other criminals. That’s a plus, right?

Secondly, his inner monologue is totally us on our most introverted days. “You can’t play on my feelings,” he says. “I don’t have any.” Plus, let’s not forget: “How bad could things be if my hair was neat?” Basically, Dexter Morgan is our spirit animal — minus the killing and stuff, obviously.
