CRSSD: So Cal’s Most Talked About Festival

CRSSD Festival has come and gone… but boy was it a magical time!   At what may be the best Techno lineup ever on a CRSSD Festival bill to date, this festival drew thousands of beautiful people to the Waterfront Park in San Diego.  Since debuting in 2015 CRSSD has become renowned for its picturesque location, food and drink selections that are high quality, and lineups that bring serious talent to the stage.

I love how each line-up seeks to explore the intersections of live and electronic music, with world-class headlining acts being paired with emerging talent. The first day of this year’s sold-out fest featured an array of world-class dance music, headlined by Shiba San, Cirez D and Empire of the Sun. Other noteworthy sets were Lee Burridge at the Palms stage and Little Dragon’s ethereal performance on the Ocean View mainstage.

The music, vibes, and experience were unprecedented, to say the least.  While being surrounded by sunshine, palm trees, pirate ships, music, and craft beer, you can’t help but fall in love this relatively new festival.  Needless to say, CRSSD has established itself as a singular beacon for boundary pushing live and electronic music acts – becoming a destination for music devotés who crave the avant-garde shades of electronic music.
