5 New TV Shows We’re Dying to See

The weather might not realize it just yet, but it’s almost October! Network television is in the process of premiering all its new shows as is fall tradition. The new show line up is…a little lackluster, but there are a few shows we’re looking forward to popping on the tube while biding our time between episodes of This is Us, Riverdale, and Will & Grace. What new program are you looking forward to diving into?

Ghosted — A detective comedy starring Adam Scott & Craig Robinson where they hunt for paranormal activity? Yes, please.

Star Trek: Discovery — Who can say no to a Star Trek reboot with a female captain? CBS is making it wicked hard to watch this show unless you get their streaming app (UGH) so time will tell if we’re all willing to fork over another $6/month for one more streaming platform.

The Good Doctor — ABC has been promoting this medical drama about a  young, autistic doctor who “sees the world differently” like crazy. Real talk, we thought it was a daytime soap opera from the billboards, but we’ll bite because ABC has given us 14 years of medical glory with Grey’s Anatomy.

American Idol — Who doesn’t love a singing competition show? American Idol, the OG that has actually delivered stars like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Jordan Sparks, is coming back and we have a feeling it’ll be just as addicting as before. The reboot includes a hot new judge in Katy Perry so we’ll tune in for sure.

Alex, Inc. — Calling all Scrubs fans! Zach Braff is back on TV with Alex, Inc. where he plays a family man that launches a podcast start-up. We’re on the fence already, but you gotta support the Braff. Garden State forever!
