The 10 Types Of People We Met At Lollapalooza

Festivals are a funny place. People from all walks of life show up to enjoy their favorite bands, hang with friends, meet new people, and generally let loose for a long weekend. However, after a few days rocking out and observing everyone around us we realized there were 10 different types of “Lollapaloozers” we couldn’t ignore.

  1. The possessive fans. “I knew this band before they were playing this festival.”

  1. The festival junkies. “Oh, these wristbands are from every single festival I’ve been to this summer.”

 

  1. The ones who took a wrong turn on the way to the YMCA. “I thought this was the pool? I’m wearing a swimsuit…where’s the water?”

 

  1. The girl who’s asking, “Are you the guy who puts me on your shoulders?

 

  1. The parents who think it’s cool to bring their small children to a massive music festival instead of Disney land for the family summer vacation.

 

  1. The girl who only talks about how drunk she is. “OMG I’M SO DRUNK!”

 

  1. The girl who got engaged when her favorite band was playing. “Mom, I just got engaged while my favorite band was playing!”

 

  1. The PDA enthusiasts. Let’s be young and dumb and just make out…for a long time…in front of everyone.

  1. The social media selfie obsessed. I need to take a photo for instagram.. and another one. Do people know I’m at Lollapalooza??!!

 

  1. The wannabe festival models. “My outfit cost more than my ticket.”
