#FBF 9 TV Shows We Died For In 2016
Happy Friday! As you pop a Xanax and prepare to brave the malls for your last minute holiday shopping, take a moment to kick your feet up and enjoy some quality programming. 2016 has been a pretty solid year for new television. On this #FBF, let’s talk about 9 new TV shows we died for in 2016:
Stranger Things– You can gauge the success of any show by the amount of people that dress up as said characters for Halloween. Based on this scale, Stranger Things was a serious winner. And let’s be honest… this ’80s inspired alien/mystery/fantasy was truly the shit.
This Is Us – When you want to sit alone and cry over a bottle of wine and a bowl of popcorn, This Is Us is the jam.
Westworld – Hands down, Westworld was the show of the year! This futuristic show about a theme park filled with insanely lifelike robots totally messed with our emotions and our timelines.
Mars – This may be a sleeper hit, but if you’re a fan of Mars exploration and space and Elon Musk’s SpaceX, this show is right up your alley. Part documentary about space and part fiction, this show has a little bit of everything, especially if you’re into life or death situations every minute.
Chance- Hugh Laurie is best known as Dr. House. In Chance, he plays Dr. Chance, a psychiatrist whose pulled into a strange world of crooked cops by a seductive patient. If you’re into crime dramas and hard boiled mysteries, this show is legit.
The Crown – Everybody needs a British drama on their Netflix queue, amirite? The Crown is all about the current Queen Elizabeth and it’s crazy interesting.
The Night Of – This HBO drama was just insanity. Also mad props to whoever cut the trailers. They reeled us in like little fish.
Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life – For Stars Hollow lovers, the return of Gilmore Girls was an EVENT. Our only critique is why oh why was this just a short four part miniseries. Please let there be Gilmore Girls forever.
The Get Down – I never thought I’d be into a show about DJs. Then there was The Get Down! Wooo
