Summer Festival Fever From The Do LaB

If you haven’t heard of The Do LaB, you may recognize them from their super colorful stage at Coachella Music and Arts Festival, featuring artists like Job Jobse, Lee Foss, Major Lazer and the Stanton Warriors.

The Do LaB is an art collective/event-creation company specializing in interactive environments, event production and creative lighting design all in service of its highest mission: creating experience as art form. They’re responsible for the upcoming summer fests Lightning in a Bottle and Woogie Weekend! Lightning in a Bottle (one of my personal favs) is an eclectic mix of music, art, and culture. In addition to music performances, the event also features guest speakers, visual and interactive art installations, yoga classes and group meditation.

I personally love these festivals; they’re an alternative to some of the better-known events like Lollapalooza and Outside Lands. More specifically, they’re a place where you can come and get silly without judgment… with a true sense of love and community. They’re celebrating of art, music, performance, sustainability and life is infectious. They take an organic approach to everything they design and create, and strive to bring their visions to life with natural materials, found objects and sustainable resources.

All in all, The Do LaB events promise a life changing, good time… committed to the highest levels of art, production, and aesthetic to always challenge people’s preconceived notions of reality and what is possible. Make sure to set your calendars for these memorable experiences filled with music, dancing and insane fun!
