I first remember hearing about pop singer/songwriter, Tori Kelly, through pop/rock band, Honor Society. The singer had been writing with the band for a couple of years trying to break into the scene and justifiably, her dream came true only a few years later. Now you can find the 23 year-old newcomer just about everywhere – from Pepsi commercials to the GRAMMYs – while capturing the hearts of millions around the world with her sweet vocals and R&B-tinged pop jams. Her debut album, Unbreakable Smile, was released this past summer to rave reviews which ultimately led her to a GRAMMY nomination for Best New Artist this year. Unfortunately, she lost but we have no doubt she’ll have a ton of her own GRAMMY moments in years to come.
