Best Late Night TV Music Moments Of 2015

Late night TV has always been the place to settle in for the night with a good laugh. With a variety of shows to choose from, there’s never a dull moment – and with the hottest celebs and music stars stopping by, there’s never a shortage of viral moments. 2015 saw a ton of hilarious music moments on late night TV, but these top 10 were by far the greatest! Catch up below on what you may have missed this year!

10. Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s “Rhythm Nation” vs. Anthony Mackie’s 2 Legit 2 Quit”Lip Sync Battle

Just when you thought Joseph Gordon-Levitt couldn’t be any more lovable, he goes and does this. While promoting the new Seth Rogan holiday flick, The Night Before, the cast made a rather wild appearance on the Spike hit series, Lip Sync Battle. Watch to see all of the throwback goodness!

9. Demi Lovato Gives Jimmy Fallon His Own ‘Confident’ JacketThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Demi Lovato and Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon, established their BFF bond about 6 years ago when Jimmy was still host of Late Night. To seal the deal, Demi recently gave the host a jacket in honor of their friendship when she stopped by to promote her new album, Confident. Of course, hilarity ensued.

8. Calvin Klein Ad: Justin BieberSaturday Night Live

After teen heartthrob, Justin Bieber, appeared in a Calvin Klein ad earlier this year, SNL milked that opportunity for all it was worth! Watch as the ever-hilarious and always on-point, Kate McKinnon, impersonates the Biebs for a new set of CK underwear ads.

7. Wheel of Musical Impressions with Christina AguileraThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Earlier this year, Christina Aguilera stopped by The Tonight Show and of course, the king of late night, Jimmy Fallon, had to engage the singer in a game of Wheel of Musical Impressions as he often does with most musicians that appear on the show. Watch as the singer takes on fellow Mousekateer Britney Spears, along with Cher and Latin queen Shakira!

6. A Thanksgiving Miracle featuring AdeleSaturday Night Live

There was only one thing to save this spoofed SNL family from fighting this Thanksgiving: Adele. Watch as the singer’s hit, “Hello,” turns what could have been a disaster into a rather cinematic (and hilarious) moment.

5. Mean Tweets: Music EditionJimmy Kimmel Live

People really have no filter on Twitter and social media has become a hate machine, unfortunately. Watch as some of music’s hottest stars like Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Haim, Sam Smith & more read some pretty harsh tweets about themselves. Fortunately, they were all pretty amused.

4. “Ew!” with Ariana GrandeThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon’s “Ew!” segments are probably the funniest skits you will ever see on TV. In this sketch, Ariana Grande’s character of Alexa join’s Jimmy’s Sara as the two BFFs have a sing-off. Decked out in Lisa Frank-esque couture, Grande brings on the rainbow bling and looks rather adorable with that unicorn purse. Watch as hilarity ensues, as always.

3. Lie Witness News: One Direction EditionJimmy Kimmel Live

One of my favorite segments on Jimmy Kimmel Live is Lie Witness News where a staff member hits the streets and asks people about fictional stuff about a certain topic. Back in 2013, a correspondent for the show went out to Coachella and asked crowd-goers about a bunch of fake bands while, sadly enough, people gobbled it right up and acted as if they were in the know. This time, One Direction fans were put on the spot and, as predicted, most of them did not question a thing! While this segment is pretty amusing, it’s quite sad that nobody thinks for themselves and that we are laughing at their expense. This could have been prevented!

2. Hotline Bling ParodySaturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live is known for their killer music video parodies and their rendition of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” hit the jackpot! Starring an on-point Jay Pharoah as Drake, the SNL cast did an incredible job at those dad dance moves, including Donald Trump, which, let’s admit – love him or hate him, nailed this one!

1. Wheel of Musical Impressions with Ariana GrandeThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

We all know Ariana Grande can belt it out like no other but did you know she can do killer impressions of fellow pop queens, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Celine Dion? Watch as the singer partakes in Jimmy Fallon’s Wheel of Musical Impressions with some amusing renditions of “Mary Had a Little Lamb, “The Wheels on the Bus” and The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” I still can’t get Fallon’s Sting impression out of my head, though.
